I kinda think they should put the custom icons on the shoulderpads and anywhere else on the models. But the UI should be simple and straight forward. I Don't have trouble with the wolf icons, but I've been involved in 40K for a loooong time so i've had more prep than the average newcomer. If we don't make it easy to learn people will take their money elsewhere and the game will suffer for it
Because then they all become meaningless.Lost in the noise. This is an instance where less is definitely more. If you want to have unique icons on the armor,fine,but the UI should be simple and easy to distinguish at a glance. No one is going to bother with having to have a notebook with 50 different icons beside them just to know what they have in thier squad,or what they are up against.
