Hey guys, I've been mulling over scenarios for a new RP, and I've settled on writing a narrative for one (finally) which I don't think will step on the toes of any other RP: a Space Hulk based one. Unlike my other RPs, I won't be making it up as I go along on a mission by mission basis. I've written out a broad overview of the first campaign (which is a good number of missions long), and it's planned how I plan most stuff I write - which is to say quite detailed, with several alternative scenarios. I intend to run the RP similarly to how a GM would run a PnP game, which is to say that I throw the obstacles and you figure out the way past them. For this RP I won't be including any buying, or exp, or whatnot (fun as I think that is). I also won't be including traits or flaws, as I think they lack merit and can just as easily be shown as part of the narrative. Unlike the usual Space Hulk games, the player characters in this RP will not be in terminator armour, but just good old power armour. You may assume that all characters are equipped with a bolt pistol, combat knife, 2x frag and 2x krak grenades. The grenades are all I will count, in terms of ammo, but that doesn't mean I won't tell you that your gun is empty when it suits my nefarious purpose. If a character has the option of changing to a different weapon then that will be listed in the classes below. The available classes are (and these are first come, first serve): 1. Either Librarian (force weapon, psychic hood. May take a storm bolter or a bolter in addition to all other weapons) or Chaplain (crozius, rosarius. May take a storm bolter or a bolter in addition to all other weapons) 2. Either Techmarine (either boltgun or storm bolter) or Apothecary (Narthecium and either bolt pistol and chainsword, bolter or storm bolter) 3. (No more than 2x) Devastator (armed with either heavy bolter, heavy flamer or multi-melta) 4. Space Marine Battle-Brother (bolter. May exchange bolter for chainsword) One battle-brother/devastator will take the role of sergeant when the campaign starts. However that will be decided at the given time. Every character may pick one of these items, in addition to their other equipment (unless already claimed, of course): Auspex - short range scanner, can detect motion, gasses, and energy emissions (only one, first come first served Claimed). Combi-tool - used to aid in repairing of machinery (only one, first come first served Claimed). Las-cutter - used to cut through metals. It can be used to break open the metals, or to weld them shut. Cannot penetrate thicker materials (only one, first come first served Claimed). Multikey - used to unlock most Imperial tech locks (only one, first come first served Claimed). Vox caster - can pick up, and relay, vox transmissions over a far greater range than the power armour's standard vox (only one, first come first served Claimed). Alternative bolter ammo - either kraken, hellfire or dragonfire rounds (only one type). Additional 2x frag grenades Additional 2x krak grenades 1x melta bomb (any other ideas are welcome, but nothing too outlandish) Please state which class you are taking before writing out a character sheet, so that we can avoid having two people write a sheet out for a character only one can have. Where there is a choice of class (so #1 or #2) only one can be picked. So if a player says he wants to take the chaplain, then nobody else may pick either the chaplain or the librarian. I would suggest replying with the character you want and then awaiting my confirmation before posting a character sheet. Speaking of which, the character sheet should look something akin to: Player Name: Character Name: Character Age: Character Class: Weapons: Armour: (include any trimmings, such as tabbards or whatever. Because I'm cruel I may state that part of your armour/armour's systems were damaged in battle, so be aware of that possibility) Misc Equipment: Character Personality: (brief overview of your character) I think that's about it for now. So as usual, raise hands, etc, and we'll get underway as soon as possible.
Hmm Battle Brother or a Devastator. If someone else wants the two devs I can let them have it. As for chapter. It's a toss up between Raven Guard and Iron Hands. Will have to do more research later. Is late here.
Chaplain, you say? And I'd vote for Iron Hands, Imperial Fists, or the White Scars though I don't see them performing well in enclosed spaces.

Edited them in above, hadn't realized you'd be replying so soon. I'm a bit hesitant as I've been having trouble lately keeping up with most RP's, will be making a more active effort now though. So if you feel confident with that, I'm more than happy to be the Battle-Brother in black! As for Chapters, I vote for Iron Hands, Imperial Fists, or White Scars despite their difficulties in enclosed environments.
