Tsen'Tal shouldered his way to the fore, crozius covered in the rapidly evaporating blood of the daemon. "Brother Sho'nohak has the right of it, we move now and get this situation under control. This is not the day we or our charges die, Brothers! We shall not be found wanting! Now, with haste!" The Chaplain pulled a small device from beneath the salamander scales at his hip, an auspex. Tsen'tal began to move down the hall, occasionally looking down to check for any reliable returns on the device.
<Sho'nohak> "The ship is on lock down protocols not -quarantine- Brother Jager. Lets move I'll take point. " Drawing his chainsword and bolt pistol he made out into the halls. Immediately his ears were assaulted by the screams of chaos and mutiny from all directions near and far with the ships halls only amplifying it. In and of itself the sound was familiar yet every time it struck like the first hammer blow against his burning heart, shaping it for the fighting to come. Fingers locked in place about the custom grip he had forged for his weapon Sho'nohak looked back to his brothers. "Jager lets get the multi-melta up front so we can deal with any warp monstrosities that approach we can't deal with on normal terms, save it for the big'uns. Zhu, Soreth anchor our flanks everyone else bring up the rear or take point with me as you see fit. " This time it wasn't much a suggestion as the Salamander slipped into a sort of command position he was often trusted with when the squad split into combat teams.
The auspex detected movement all across the board, but was unable to distinguish between human, Astartes and daemon. Moving away from the bridge, the auspex showed a slight radiation leak in the room which houses the gellar field's vital components.
-Jager "Alright" he said taking the front multimelta raised He kept moving his eyes scanned for any daemon That could appear in front of them. His breathing was controlled and ready.
Scytella stayed on the edge of the group, checking in each room as they passed it. Sometimes there were those crewman covered in blood, obviously fallen to the blood god's will. There was nothing left for those except to perhaps find a better fate in death.
"Aye!" Zhu replied and instantly took the right. "Soreth, you take the left?" The Salamander wanted confirmed as his will was steeled. It was just a regular cleanse operation for him, although he was wondering about the enemies they would face. Daemons... The Warp spawn, beasts that deserve nothing but death. It didn't make them different of other enemies of the Imperium, but they were far more dangerous. One mistake and each of them could be doomed. Though with the Chaplain along them, the Emperor would guide them through even the darkest night, like a golden beacon of amplified faith.
The Chaplain took a moment to contact the Sergeant and Inquisitor, keeping them up to date as the squad moved through the ship. "Auspex is picking up traces of radiation near the Geller Field Generator. Whoever you bring in to repair the machine, ensure they are properly protected." Space Marine's had a far higher tolerance to radiation poisoning and he stepped closer without fear, one eye on the auspex and another on their surroundings. He was not a squad leader, in fact while his kind were often advisors and leaders in times of crises or vanquished command structure, for Tsen'Tal to take command of the squad would weaken the Sergeant's command. Instead he turned to his Brothers, Sho'nohak in particular, waiting. ((OoC: Off to do social things, will try to get another post in for the night later!))
<Sho'nohak> Taking straight to the role that the rest were apparently fine with him fulfilling he nodded for the Chaplain to carry on. "Forward with us Chaplain, we shall keep a Beacon of the Emperor to the fore. " Of course he wasn't going to wait for him tot urn and lead stepping right up stride for stride with him as the team began to carve their path through whatever hell-spawn they encountered. His bolt pistol raised to dispatch a pair of wrestling crewmen, both were going at it with such mindless savagery that he knew them both to be lost. A pair of shots blew open each head and his feet arched over them to avoid desecrating the fallen. "We're nearing the Gellar Field Generators, last I checked none of us were Tech-marine's and I've got the Combi-tool. If anyone fancies themselves better with machinery speak up and I'll hand it over, if not I'll look into repairs. " Every Salamander had an intimate knowledge of the forge and thus construction, whilst not so trained as the Tech-Marines he could probably handle something minor with the electronics of something a bit more severe with the super structure of the generator. "I recommend we stay together until the job is done, I expect the daemons to mass up in an attempt to stop us from blocking their invasion. "
As the Salamanders decided their next course of action, a group of five bloodletters spawned in on their location!
<Sho'nohak> Suspecting this to be only the start of the foes resistance he spoke. "Push forward Brothers, put them down and get into the generator room! Become the anvil and hold any and all at bay!" Training his bolt pistol on one only seemed to make the beast angrier but anger didn't stop a round from clipping it's leg at the knee and blowing it off, his chainsword screaming as it did before the cry was replaced with the violent groan of adamantine teeth tearing through bone. One down he moves at pace with the rest watching as the bolts fly and greater weapons come out. Knowing they could handle as much he makes for the Gellar Field's Housing Room and takes a peek inside seeing if any foes or friends lurked within and the state of their ships primary defense against the warp.
