  1. "I agree, also we should secure the relic. Before something intrudes and get's to it before us." Scribe activated his vox bead and spoke to the whole squad "Let's meet up as soon as possible along the way to the chapel, the emperors relic needs to be secured"

"Agreed, the relic was of utmost import to the Inquisitor's band. It is therefore our primary objective to secure it in service of the Imperium, once we have it secured, we will look towards freeing ourselves from this accursed abomination of metal." Tsen'Tal's eyes narrowed as he kept watch on the auspex, the signal from outside rousing his suspicion. "With haste, so we can activate our defenses and sensors. Potentially gain some awareness of our surroundings. If we've survived, it means other may have as well."

"By the looks of it Brothers we've got a mishmash of Orkish vessels with plenty of Imperial ships. Can't get an idea of where it all ends or starts though. Suggest we recover the relic as everyone has already said then secure this ship so we have a base of operations and fall back center before we even consider moving on. Might help to build a new strong hold around the chapel and the relic should it still be there. " Moving along with the others he kept his eyes sharp for anything lurking in the darkness though somehow he doubted there was anything left on the ship with them.
  4. "Let us return to the bridge again once we reestablished power." Turning around Scribe took a few steps down the hallway voxing to his brother "Sho'nohak take point" bolter trained level he waits for his squadmate to take the lead towards the reliquary.

The Salamanders made their way to the temple-shrine as hastily as possible. The ship's halls and corridors were devoid of live, and their journey went undisturbed. Arriving at the blessed cathedral, the chaplain lead the way in, chanting various prayers, for the temple-shrine was the most holy place aboard the vessel, and it deserved to be treated with the correct level of respect.

The room itself had survived rather well, considering. Probably due to being quite central within the ship, and possibly because of all the incantations placed upon it over the years. The relic sat in a jewel encrusted box on the far side of the room, beyond the prayer pews and lectern.

[OOC: Lol, you guys. Got bored waiting for you to actually move to the shrine instead of discussing that you'll be going there.]

  6. [OOC: that's quite alright it's hard to know when to move people to a new scene so I sure don't mind you doing that :D ]

Scribe kneeled down, praying to the emperor that he might tend the souls lost in these past events. "Chaplain I can imagine the inquisition using some security measures to protect the relic I advise extensively scanning it with the auspex before opening it up" rising from his prayer scribe walked around the chapel making sure to look for other doorways to secure while his brothers set about the relic.

Scytella sent a quick prayer to the emperor and walked up beside the relic "Chaplain, I think only you are worthy to open it." Although he should praise this holy relic, the events that had transpired somehow all put some doubt on this relic's origin.

OOC: Might want to bot chaplain, depends on what happens...:D

    Brother Rahim -
Kneels before the shrine and says a pray in remembrance of the fallen and for the Emperor to guide them. Upon standing he secures the exit. "Brothers I did not see any of our Chapters Relics in the Armory, are there any on board that you are aware of? If none are on board getting the ship back online should be our next priority. If we are lucky we may be able to get the hangars open and escape this maze that way." He knew in the back of his head that starting up the ship would more than likely cause anything that was alive and hidden on the other vessels to flock to this one, but it still would have to be done if they hoped to escape.

OOC: ok now I'm starting my long drive, bit as needed.

    Chaplain bot mode: engage!

''No idea, Brother Jager,'' the chaplain said--once again espying his auspex.

Chaplain Tsen'tal moved to the box which housed the relic. The box hissed open at his touch, and a platform rose from inside. There was a cylinder of some sort--which flashed a red light at its peak. It almost looked like a--

''Melta bomb! Get out!'' the chaplain roared, scurrying away from the crate as quickly as he could.
