  1. <Kroot Shaper>

The shapers head pops backwards and makes him stumble a step back. Popping his jaw the Kroot holds his hand up to stop his warriors from attacking. "If you wish I do not have to help you in your endeavor, but such would insult me, and an insult to me would result in me electing a champion to fight in a duel against yours. Or you can vent your anger and take my offer of aid instead of being a fool. My warriors were told to stay away from the Eldar if possible but I can not always control them." The kroot then turns his head at an angle to the side. "Did I not just stop the fighting? I could have continued and had my people fight yours leading to more of your kind dying as well as mine. Perhaps I should speak to the leader of your group, one who is more sensible."

The kroot motioned for another of his kind to step forward. An old kroot with a small hunch in his back came forward and made the tribal salute to his Shaper. "Mekepa'Ta, our shaman, shall see to your wounds and make sure you are recovered by the time we strike....so what say you Eldar?"

The Reaper was furious, and half tempted to tell this Shaper what he could do with his offer, and if it was just himself he would, but he would not risk the lives of his Brothers and Sisters because of his anger.
"We accept your offer Shaper, I will not apologize for my actions, but neither will I allow lives to go to waste because of it, however, I will have to ask for a chance to meet with my kin, we need to extract some of our own who are too wounded to continue the fight and beyond the aid of your Shaman." He gestures towards the one-armed Corsair and the Guardian he defended in the fight with the Kroot.

OOC: Off to bed for the night, probably won't be on again until tomorrow afternoon!

OOC: Glad we don't have to get down to that again

Rharijem whispered to Minnaloushe as they gathered with the other Eldar (just assume we did so; if not let me retcon!) "I don't trust these guys... Probably they just want to use us for their liking, similar to how Eldar like to utilize Orks for our own good against the stubborn Mon'keigh."

  4. <Kroot Shaper>

"If it is any consolation I have declared your kind an honor to consume if a warrior of my tribe manages to fell an Eldar. But for the time being I have declared you inedible as we are allies with a common goal." The kroot spoke as if this was truly a great honor and meant no insult.

(OOC: I believe no race can talk the Eldar language but lucky for us we have Cair to translate.)

    <Minnaloushe the Intemperate>

The pilot had listened quietly to Rharijem's blabber - he seemed to have found himself anew, and this new self was sentient - awake to his own new feelings. It made a smile bloom on her now-dried lips.
Then he began whispering, something about a fight in the Anam made her turn sharply his way... If she wasn't now to focus on Visethianne's orders, she would have inquired further.

"Yeah I don't trust them either... They're smarter than they look, and anything deserving of that phrase is to be handled with care. Their leader must have had troops nearby, in wait for a distraction, and he himself must have flied up here to signal them to strike once we engaged."

  6. OOC: Kroot are known to be able to learn any language very quickly from what I know, not sure if Eldarin is excluded

I also remember in Fire Caste the Kroot hunting humans mimicked them to lure them into traps.

Lexicanum :Combined with this method of communication, the Kroot can learn new languages at an astounding rate, matching posture and tone to the sound of foreign words in order to discern their meaning. Their own verbal communication is a mixture of clicks and whistles, possibly reinforced by these pheromone exudations. :)

The Avenger raised his forearm to reveal a holo with all the relevant details of their incursion and transmitted that information to their reinforcements. He also transferred his command module to Desek, making him the lead of the deployment.
The Iyandenian Warlock had been successful in his last negotiations, Seth could only hope the Warlock had it within himself to pull off another one... Else there would be more Eldar blood drawn out.

Rharijem nodded in silent agreement, paying attention to the updates and soon to be orders. Although since there was nothing immediate to do, his eyes darted upon the Kroot he killed earlier and the Greater Knarloc. It was insane how quick an enemy could become an ally. Although could they really be trusted this easily? Obviously not... And he would make sure to be ready for betrayal at any point to keep Minnaloushe and the others save. But so was the tides of destiny within war.

Zryas-Vehd just sat down on a bench near the halls of dining to rest a bit, not even managing to make the way back to his quarters he just had to lay down there and rest.

OOC: I apologize but can someone give me a summary of what the ground teams mission was again? As I kind of was still in my inactive state and wasn't paying much attention to those post back when it got going  Just before I have Desek respond I'd like to know what he knows :D

In the data the Avenger had just relayed, Desek could find a list of human items, materials & gadgets that they were sent to find - however, Visethianne had remarked that the human presence had festered and that their settlements were surely well-fortified.
