Sickytoof 'ere is roight, usin' da rokkit launcha inside a building is more likely ta gib you or yer mates more than it is anybody else. It's MUCH bettah in da open where da chance of blowin' up yer own mates is less den 80%. I mean it CAN be useful in a building, but yer gonna have ta be REAL selective wiv yer targets.
I only ever get killed by it indoors. But going by your name and avatar, you have more experience on it (on the dealing side), so I will trust you on that one.
Might be because more fights happen indoors? Rokkit boyz will still go indoors, but they're more limited while inside. It works like that for most ranged weapons actually. They're far more scary to face when you're in the open, than when you've ample cover and tight spaces all around. If I see a plasma cannon facing me as I go out into open space, I know I'm dead. But if I see him inside a point, I have a chance.
Selective? Jus' shoot da rokkits at yer enemy and hope fer da best. I usually defend a point wiv me rokkit laucnha' and hope ta' gork er mork I don't gib anuvva' ork wit' it
I'm a fan of da kannon, and I can't really consider it an AV weapon. Sure it damages it, but in relation to every other weapon orks can use that can damage a vehicle it's a poor choice. Good for defending a fortress though, I'll give it that.
You get used to it. I'm more annoyed that my goggles cosmetic I use with it shares the same paint cover up on the lenses.
