Well in the big battle scene they did have Mondasian, Cybus, and Cyberian Cybermen. I don't think they had enough of any one of those designs to do a force of them in the woods. Cracking last scene for the Master & Missy. And another cracking one for the Doctor (which has me looking forward to the Xmas special). The characters of Bill and Nardol have been great!
I enjoyed that stuff but the Mondasian Cybermen never really changed throughout Doctor Who and the more "Futuristic" look was the Parallel Earth stuff. Just that even Mondasian Cybermen being different they certainly have a better scare factor to them and it was a meh moment when they changed. I question what the next will be. I didn't watch most of this series, saw the X-Mas special last year that was meh if you ask me =/ I do like the actor for Doctor Who in the last series =)
It's clearly my fault, I haven't been around to impart the blessings of the Dank Gods upon my flock. A terrible tragedy. We'll have to make some blood sacrifices to Kek and call it a day.
You missed quite a bit then. The entire Vault arc. The three stories covering the Monks. The story where Bill meets some Roman soldiers, tells them she's a Lesbian, and has them treat her as old-fashioned as they're all Bi! The Space: 1889-esque one with Victorian, British Empire soldiers on Mars. You missed quite a bit. I wonder who the next Doctor will be? Last time I wanted Idris Elba. This time.... I'm unsure.
