So This Is Where The Heretics Reside?

  1. I understand that bit. What I don't understand is in the present day, why do they want him dead, I doubt they all know about all the things he did.
  2. The Word Bearer population of this game wants to be rid of him because we like the idea of what we could be without him, ie, not totally the bad guys.

But there are Veterans of the Long War, so there would be others who despise him for the path he set in universe as well.
  3. The visions might be the cause of it, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have mental health problems. I can't believe you would even argue that point.

Being willing and able to sacrifice thousands of your own soldiers just to continue the battle strategy that has blatantly fallen apart is fundamentally insane. That's a lot more than a "negative outlook".

Now I don't even know what you're trying to argue. Thanks for agreeing, I guess?

Putting psychopaths and sociopaths in charge of the greatest military machine the galaxy had seen since the War in Heaven WAS A FUCKING STUPID THING TO DO.

Hindsight is a bitch, but to the Emperor's "genius intellect" that should have been fucking obvious.

It's almost like you don't even read what you're saying.
  4. I must read the WB omnibus. All I know is that Kor Phearon wants him dead.
  5. Every novel, every codex, every slice of lore ever written about the Primarchs since, what, 4th edition? Point to the Primarchs being unfit for command of a fucking office building, let alone Astartes. Most of 'em couldn't even control themselves.
  6. Eh, not really.
Kor Phearon just wants power, just like Erebus.
  7. I guess the sheer potential of what they could achieve far outweighed common sense in the Emperor's case.
  8. I'm not sure that's true. Kor Phaeron was never really popular in the Legion so it may just be that he has trouble getting power to oppose the status quo. Or not, haven't seen enough character development to gauge.
  9. I just realized... I'm exactly like Erebus...
    FUCK!
I don't serve chaos because I believe it's power to be used...
Well... at least my citizens have it better than ones taken by real Chaos slavers
  10. Put it this way.

When Abaddon considers you a failure, well...
