I don't see why not. They're pretty similar. Racial supremacy/purity as a MO? Mandatory subservience to the state? Mass use of social engineering? Chaos isn't good. It's just less illogical. Ironically.
In the current form of Chaos, yes. But that's the point. It's not just Mankind that needs to be reborn, but Chaos as well. Ascension is the process of Mankind becoming one with the Ruinous Powers, and the Warp itself awakening. Their is actually a theory that the Warp itself is a massive, gestalt consciousness, and some Cults during the Horus Heresy believed this, giving praise to Chaos is the guise of the Primordial Anihilator.
It cannot be, because, by definition, it is the collective psychic consciousness of the human race. Unless you're willing to argue that every human in the galaxy is fundamentally good and everything they do is good, in which case I won't waste my time arguing with you.
I only mean that you should consider that subjects like the Nazi's can cause people distress in this thread. That is all.
I view it as Chaos being a force that feeds off of the collective psychic consciousness of the human race, because Chaos existed before the Human race. There are actual Chaos artifacts that predate even the Eldar.
Even still, Chaos is shaped by human emotions. You talked up about how Chaos can be changed, I'm referring to its form now.
