The Kommando Hero is a special Skarboy Kommando, a Veteran, so it doesn't leave out the possibilities of a regular Kommando class - Though I'd say it would be fine if they were Elite.
I like the ideas you've given such as the exploding ork bit. (I brought up a similar idea in a Chaos Aspiring Sorcerer thread.) Some things seem complicated though. I am curious to no end about each of the support classes. What you've said here along with Brent being excited for the painboy just fuels my curiosity more. Whatever comes into being from both Devs brainstorming along with what influence crusaders in forums have. It's going to be fun when we finally get our hands on EC to test and balance stuff.
I think the doks experimental nature could be well represented by giving the healed orks random buffs\debuffs. It could give the uneasiness of a patient without making them completely avoided.
I'm not sure I want that amount of FUN* in the game, especially not with a vital role like a healer...
As I said with the other post, it might be a nice idea as a separate kit choice, but the bog standard dok's tools shouldn't have lolrandom. And if you do take it, make sure your squad is okay with it, otherwise you only have yourself to blame if you get kicked out q;
It will be really cool if the painboy has a littel medic gun like that. Or a strange medipack like that:
They would still heal you its that the thing they used could have been a steriod (more damage) or a muscle relaxer (less damage or less speed) or other things
