  1. We all have some Space Marine chapter, Chaos Warband, Ork WAAAAAAAGH, or Eldar Craft/Exodite world we created, we gave them a color scheme, named a few important characters, and even a few historic battles. We all want to hear the lore behind your faction and any relics they have as well as a color scheme. well here is the place to put that lore

I look forward to your epic lore

  2. Iron Wardens
    formation date: late M35

The Iron Wardens are successors Iron Hands. Chapter belief states that 'Machine is stronger than flesh' however all initiates and Astartes need to earn their machine parts through battle as opposed to self mutilation. They were formed to crusade into subsector Sable during a Red Corsairs sacking of the planets Trireme Major and Trireme Prime (both now under the control and vigilance of the Iron Wardens). Throughout their many milenia of existence their gene seed has remained pure and flawless making them able candidates to be sent to the front lines of Cadia, what makes them ideal, however, is the Ordo Hereticus, Xenos, and Mallius have allowed extensive swelling of the Iron Wardens' numbers into well over two-thousand standing Astartes.

"We are, all of us, Angels of Death. We bear such power that even gods fear us, so the seek to corrupt us. That is why every Astartes must be watched, that is why we welcome a blade to the back of our necks....."
-Last words of First Chapter Master Octavius.

Octavius saw the threat his men posed should they be corrupted, and due to his interference with an Ordo Hereticus affair he had the blood of innocent Imperium soldiers on his hands and willingly gave his head to the Inquisition. Shortly after, the new Chapter Master Scipiius, allowed the Inquisition a permanent base and home on Trireme Prime to monitor them, this has led to a close alliance between Inquisitors and the Iron Wardens as well as one averted heresy.

The Iron Wardens focus on ambush and catching their prey flat-footed leaving the screaming and glory to chapters like the Blood Angels. They have also developed a special drop pod with detachable doors that are used as cover, this allows them to thrive on battlefields that terminators would struggle in.

The Iron Wardens have mobilized, and twenty legions are approaching the front lines of Cadia, led by Captain Pictus Imperitus, and soon they will make Cadia THE beacon of Imperium might!

The "scions" chapter of the Word Bearers legion.
Founded: in M31 pre Horus heresy
    Leader: Caius Gal'tor
    Colours:granite grey
Insignia: traditional burning book of pre heresy Word Bearers

The chapter hasn't changed much since it's creation during the great crusade, despite being a "half-Astartes" the chapter master has retained command of the force for 10,000 years. The chapter is rather consistently at an 800 man fighting force, as it had to battle not only loyalist forces but chaos as well. The chapter is "renegade" similar to he night lords, they don't worship chaos but they feel that chaos is better for humanity than the oppressive dictatorship of the imperium, and fight to free humanity.

Regularly break from what is considered "normal" to achieve their goals, from forming (and holding) alliances with xenos forces. Their major exception is that they will never align themselves with Ultramariens, as the Scions blame them for starting the Horus heresy which destroyed the once great XVII legion.
