Because it is a multi-faceted area of study, just like any other theoretical lens. Names aren't directly related to subjects in many cases. If you'd like to talk about feminism, just PM me. I don't want this to snowball into something horrible like last time. It's become pretty clear that this is a pretty single minded forum. 40k and nothing that isn't directly related. Nothing wrong with that, I just have to keep in mind that people have no interest in discussing tangential stuff.
Like any group, there are many flavors of feminists. Unfortunately, the ones that get the most coverage are the ones that make the most noise, not the ones that make sense. Who gets the spotlight, the women that work for actual equal rights or the ones that keep repeating the "women make 77 cents for every dollar a man makes" myth, and advocates for oppressive college speech codes/kangaroo trials. It's the wacko ones that get the attention, in virtually every group of people.
sisters of battle are not female space marines. REALLY different things. they arent super human. no geneseeds. arent in chapters, etc.
