-Niner Niner shouted for the greater good he felt pumped from hearing the speech from the ethereal. -Vior'la Vior'la simply kept silent actions were loader then words she was ready to get to the mission in to battle again.
*Deru was caught up in the moment, cheering and raising his fist in a cheer* *Buies simply remained silent and wondered if he would if he would be allowed to experiment with this new 'weapon'*
<Etherreal> "Then ready yourselves! We arrive in a week at the World the Imperials called Eldritch. It was purged by the Sable Swords chapter, the same that defeated a major force of ours in the past when we pushed for the Galactic North, but this time we cannot be stopped! For we are a united force of all Tau Septs! Warriors of Mont'ka and Kauyon alike, from D'yanoi to Dalyth, from Vior'la to Fal'shia! We are Tau of all spheres, Tau of all skills, we are Shadowsuns Trump in the War against our foes!" The Etherreal rose his staff high in the sky while the masses cheered. He slowly retreated after a small bow in acknowledgment that his speech was over, he retreated into his chambers and the Caste leaders respectively nodded to each other. The podium and the platform started to disappear. The Air Caste leader took the word first as he stepped forward. "Alright folks! You heard the Etherreal, a week we got! For some it may seem long, for others it may seem short. In any case, Feel free to relax and train as little as you think you need. At least that counts for my Pilot-peeps." He laughed, thinking it was a good joke as he looked over to Shi'Monat who shook her head in disappointment. "Pretty-Fire-Face seems to disagree but whatevs, right?! So yea... Uhm...." He scratched his head not knowing where to go really next. "Just do some pilot training and stuff, will ya?" Shi'Monat replaced the Admiral and stepped forth, addressing her Fire Warriors. "Prepare yourselves as good as you can! Train with the Kroot, train with the Vespid, train with each other and in the simulation rooms! Space Marines, Eldar, Dark Eldar, Orks, prepare for anything we have not the slightest clue what we are against! Furthermore get with the Earth Caste together and try to get your equipment customized to your needs. You have one week and I will assess every single one of your reports. You may see me watching or not, but I judge every single one of you." The Fire Warrior leader stepped away, with the Water Caste leader stepping forth. "My dear diplomats.... Ambassadors, uhm, engineers and warriors... And of course Tau allies... So uhm yeah, if you have trouble with each other... The water caste is here to arrange... Things. If it is stress, trade, bargains... Uhhh anything really. We will keep the social bonds.... Strong I suppose you could say." He started to sweat, grabbing a handkerchief and drying his face quickly. "Puuh... It's hot in here... So yeah, that is it." Eur'ii stepped back, next to Kauyen. And the Earth Caste leader stepped forth. "Engineers, Scientists, Researchers. Tinker, build, repair, modify as much as you want. We have no idea of what the weapon is going to be like or what it exactly will be. But we will have to experiment with it and we will have to find ways to integrate it into our weaponry and mass-produce it. So be prepared through books, exchanging knowledge, experiments. Feel free to do whatever you can come up with and like our dear Shi'Monat said. Try to customize the Fire Warriors equipment and those of the Kroot and Vespid and whomever else fights for the Greater Good to fit their custom needs." The Female Technician bowed deeply and nodded to the other three leaders who nodded back. "You are dismissed. If anything should come up, you will be contacted, you are free to do until we arrive on Eldritch." She finished up and took her leave among with the other leaders.
Yua'rak's fear realized, he tried to get a grip. "Calm down Yua'rak, all the actual danger will be handled by the fire caste." Convinced for the time being, he makes his way to speak with his superior, Por'Vre Eur'ii. Slipping past the columns of castes, he thinks *I must confer with Por'Ver Eur'ii, see if he has anything he wishes done. A little sucking up never hurt. Then I'll take a look around the ship to visit the various gathering sites. Hanger bay for the Air, engineering deck for the Earth, simulators for the Fire, canteen and bridge to cover my bases.* As he thought this, Yua'rak noticed a fire warrior. Beautiful but blemished by scars, that was not what drew his attention. It was her indifference to the Ethereal's speech and the familiarity of her demeanor that peaked his curiosity. Slowing his pace, he spoke a common phrase from his homeworld, "Abandoned but not forgotten." Loud enough for only her ears. He continued to walk and watched her out the corner of his eye. Waiting for a reaction or lack their of. *this should be interesting* He thinks to himself.
-Deru "im restless and i need to shoot something, so im heading down to the simulators, how about you?" *he said looking over at Vior'la* -Buies *Buies headed back to the engineering bay to check the suit once again before handing it off to Codrus* OOC: ill try to make some longer posts later
-Vior'la Vior'la looked back as the tau looked back with a look of surprise on her face almost as if she heard a ghost. she couldn't tell who said that with the other tau in the crowd. she heard deru and said "Yeah lets head to the simulators got any specfic target you want to work on" she said
-Deru "the human 'space marines', they said the Sable Swords operated in the area, and we may run into them when they notice our presence.... do you have any ideas for targets?"
<Shi'Monat> The Commander in charge already was over in the simulators, sitting in one of the supervisor chairs of the entire hologram-creating room, observing the different settings and fixing the last set scenarios. She smiled as she saw the Tyranid setting and laid her hand over the planets image that served as base for the planet. The planet that earned her the name she wields. (OOC: I use this as base for her backstory: http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/vengeance-or-greater-good.27656/) <Eur'ii> The Water Caste Head-Ambassador returned to his suite that he used also as office to go over inventory, finances, ammunition and so on. He enjoyed to have control. <Kauyen & Codrus> The Earth and Air Caste leaders both seemed to be friends beyond their services and conversed in the Cantina regards the upcoming mission and required modifications and work on the different aircrafts.
