I seriously start to believe Steam is not a good source of information about games. Reviews mostly seem to be written by 10 yo salty kids unable to explain their point of view or providing decent feedback. "Ded game no buy it's a scam" is not a review: it's f*****g nothing. Then EC might have problems and it surely needs more work but it's definitely not a bad game. Maybe still not worth 50€, but it doesn't deserve the shitstorm.
I'd actually love to bring more friends to the game, but 50€ are just simply too much for an average arena shooter that is carried by the warhammer franchise. Sales or a price reduction would make me recommend it to certain people though.
A lot of games don't really deserve the shitstorms that happen, but yet once that train gets moving it really does seem like some sort of mental telepathy or some magic nonsense happens as people who really shouldn't be angry get angry and that causes more people to get angry for no real reason! And it just goes downhill from that, people just love to get angry. I tried to get friends into this game? But they saw the price tag and gameplay of what was on offer and chose to wait. I can understand that to a degree, I got this because..40k and Space Marine mutliplayer I found barren at the best of times. I do have hope it'll get better but I'm not expecting a miracle explosion of player numbers anytime soon.
The last time I read them about a third was about "I'm a Space Marine and people can actually kill me, shit game". I mean, c'mon. I'm far from "happy" with the game, but this shit is just unfair.
The only negative reviews that are worth reading are those that mention optimization, balance and melee The rest are absolute trash
90% of these "reviewes" still bitch about pay2win shop. How we can take these kind of things seriously? Steam reviewes are just steam forum bile transferred directly to store page.
