damn it. oh well. i just hope that there will be more than 5 chapters then. otherwise lots of peouple will be unhappy due to the fact that both the BT and fists wont be in the game
It is surprising that with a game called the Eternal Crusade there are no Black Templars. But like others said, they won't remove the Ultrasmurfs for many reasons, one being that I bet GW wouldn't let them. GW is so in love with the UM that it's not even funny.
The Ultramarines are an iconic chapter, and i, as well as a considerable portion of the playerbase would most likely not be happy if we can't play our own chapter, it sucks that the Imperial Fists aren't in the game, but there is always a chance that they will be added later, the Ultramarines are already announced, no need to take them away now. Besides, i find the UM lore better than IF, but that's just my opinion.
In all honesty, i'd rather not be stuck with a single chapter, and be able to choose your own color scheme because everyone has their own favourite chapter.
That was one of the best things about Space Marine. To be honest, all this hate towards the Ultramarines is just plain annoying. I know they're disliked, even hated, by a lot of players either de to years of over-exposure or Matt Ward's writing, but to actually suggest they be removed from Eternal Crusade after being announced is, quite frankly, ridiculous. I'm all for the Imperial Fists or one of their successors being added as the 5th Chapter, I've got nothing against them, but to actually want to remove the Ultramarines? Why not just go one step further and remove all the announced Chapters and add lesser used ones?
No, thank you. And i'm not mad, but if you really think that Ultramarines are not unique, that's because you haven't looked enough. Or because you don't want to. That said, i like Imperial Fist too (Dorn is a badass and a deep character and their caracteristics are nice), but you must admit that Ultramarines are more represented and iconic.
I'm just scared that Space Wolves will attract furries. Furries are just terrible, terrible people who wont stop plastering the internet with shitty fanfiction and porn, in addition to ALWAYS announcing it and acting all "special". If it weren't for that last point they would be tolerable but they just form these cliques and team up on non furries.
It is fine having the Ultramarines, but having Imperial Fists would be super cool now that Iron Warriors are announced. Masters of Defense (IF) vs. Masters of Siege (IW) now THAT could make for some awesome gameplay!
