we discovered why some referral dont work:
for use the referral you need to click the link create an account and buy the game.

yes but the point is: create an account basically if someone create an account without a referral, and buy the game after and wan't to use a referral link the referral link don't work.


so for example if you give a referral code to a friend that have an old forum account the referral link don't work.


this is why some people never recive the referral.

so everyone who have created a forum account without a referral link have lost the referral 4k bonus.

I would like to bump this.

this should be fixed.

i think the problem is that the referral link is a "signup page" link for people already logged in the forum/accountsistem don't work:
if someone click on a referral link witouth being logged appear a sign up page: http://www.eternalcrusade.com/account/sign-up/?ref_code=EC-referralcodeexample

instead if someone is already logged in is bring on the standard https://www.eternalcrusade.com/ page and the referral code disappear from the link

Thanks for the intel, I don't really want to create a new account and I am down for getting the founders when I can swing the pack I am aiming for. Still would like to see those numbers show up first and then have them unlocked when I get the pack.

So far I have had at least 3 people use the referral but my guild is now waiting until this is corrected and when the guild founders pack details are up.

yes it's a problem for the user that are registered before the 25 june for follow the game and now can't use the referral code from a friend or a guildmade that already have bought the game.

Pretty silly oversight, hopefully they fix/slightly redo the referral system because it's hardly intuitive right now.

would have been nice to be able to use the referral system from within but I understand why it can't be. It is used to get new people not people who are already going to play it.

but at least the people that have a forum account but not have buyed the founder should have the chance of use a referal if they want.
or it's like that all the people that have joined the forum before the founder program have lost the 4k bonus
