So... I save up to buy the Power Maul for my Chaos Space Marine because it looks sexy AF, but what I got was not what I promised! Come on! Look at the advertised image compared to the in-game model. If the design is work in progress, you could at least mention it or something. Or better yet, not use a picture which does not represent the in-game product! If I knew it would look like this I would have just gotten the Power Axe. This is seriously the first time I've gotten pissed off at this game. Fix dis, ASAP!
Yeah, the image is basically a Dark Angel Terminator mace, while the in-game model is of a CSM Terminator mace. The DA one does look a bit nicer.
the maul has looked like that since its implementation, they got a thumbnail in the wrong place most likely in the chaos of releasing the patch
The thumbnail pic is for a relic weapon called the Litany of Wrath, a Limited Edition Founder's item that was open for purchase for a limited time only last year. So they have the wrong thumbnail pic in for the standard maul/mace. As far as the design of the current mace/maul for Astartes they're both exactly the same. One would assume we will be able to purchase various skins for our mace/mauls in the future. At least it doesn't look like the police baton Orks have to call a Mace.

Don't worry you will be able to buy that thing for like $20, unless it was a founders only item and is long gone.
