For the month of Lucidus YOU must have Thaddius back and have him send out the monthly. With less peasants starving this month they seem more peasant about being told what to do. Most jobs are staying the same with the 4 fishers going out on the boat with Thog, 10 militia in training, the 20 wood cutters, and now 9 are working the fields. The new field is to be sown so 1 were ordered to do so. With the new fishing boats you send 9 of the inexperienced builds to go fish to acquire more food. You wish to finish the fish smokehouse. The 2 pairs of hunters and the 10 trappers are left their previous duties. You decide to try and reduce the starvation of the peasants by asking them for ideas of what should be done to counter the lack of food. Their answers are not very reassuring consisting of praying to different gods which almost starts a riot. After they have settled a bit other ideas come for such as killing goats, escalating quickly to various things involving virgins(throwing them into volcanoes, smashing them rocks letting birds eat them, sending some out to sea as sacrifices), one idiot actually suggests nothing be done. As you think on your new knowledge of your peasants you notice them seem to like things involving killing and virgins. This month the world has received news that a new orc Warchief has been decided. This is a boon to the world because it means that they will stop raiding and competing in great contests of one-up-manship. They will be rather passive until the new warchief is killed. While this does not directly affect you, if you to plan on expanding or even exploring the land south west of your keep you will be "safe" now. You speak to Thaddius about his trip to the village in the north. He did manage to buy a map of the area, something does not appear right with it or for that matter the village. Before going into the village he asks to never be sent back there ever, ever again for any reason. He first tells you about the village and how only the Lord and his advisors spoke with him. Their peasants of the village avoided him and his guards only pointing towards the keep. The Lord introduced himself as Thul'al Zummcalla. Thaddius was invite to stay in a room at the keep as he was told it was "safer". The few days he did stay there he kept his guards in his room with him and even thought the room had no armour, windows, or paintings he still felt continually observed. When he went to make his leave Lord Zummcalla gave him a map warning to only open when he wished to observe the magic worlds. His last words before Thaddius made his leave were "Every Abyss can stare back". Thaddius has not opened the map and hands it to you shakily and asks for some time to compose himself. for the rest of the month he sits during the days looking out into the ocean. The next report contains the progress of the month: the wood cutters produced 120 units and still do not become more skilled yet again. The lone fishers produces 10.1 food and all but one of the beginning fishers become more skilled. One fisher was so unfortunate that his boat was destroyed, he barely managed to survive. The fishers and Thog produce 7.5 food and learn nothing this month. The lone fisherman cannot become more skilled once they advance so far because they will not be paid for such lowly tasks. The field workers gather 1.8 units of food. Next month the 3 seeded fields will produce food. The newest field has been sown. The first 2 pairs of hunters and trappers acquire 3.2 total, yet do not manage to become more proficient at hunting this month. The 10 new trappers catch 5 food in total but do not learn any new skills for performing better in the future. The peasants being trained as militia by Stzoo finally become skilled and coordinated enough to safely train with arms. The builders constructing the "FisherOrc's Friends" smokehouse has been completed and all 21 of the workers become more proficient in build structures out of wood. The food produced this month 23 more peasants are no longer starving. The 17 idle peasant save .2 food that is put towards feeding 2 more of your starving peasants. The remaining population including you are still starving, but get enough food to not increase their starvation does it does not get any worst this month. Their regard for you remains the same as last month. Though there are still 25 starving peasant to feed next month. Three peasants come of age and 2 die likely due to their old age.
