Luther takes careful aim between the eyes on the astartes from his vantage point in the balcony. He is aiming for the weak point on any human including astartes. Setting his rifle on the colorless spectrum and silenced, but maximum power dispte that. He fire one shot that was effectively a instant invisble and silent death sentence.
Dalimond looked steely eyed at the Thousand sons sorcerer, he had immediately recognized the distinctive blue and gold armor and striped ornamentation on his helmet from his experience on Immundra where a coven of them had turned half the Imperial force against itself. Looking at Luther nearby the Commissar noticed that the sergeant had yet to give another order in the face of this situation, a sign of hesitation that Dalimond would have to let slip for now in the face of this adversity. From his experience on Immundra though the Commissar knew exactly what to do in this situation, he cannot allow the traitors to dictate what the squad does so therefore he had to come up with his own solution to this problem. Slowly and deliberately Dalimond reached to take out another Lho stick from a satchel on his carapace belt, placing the narcotic in his mouth he deftly brought out his lighter and with a click brought it to the end of the stick and lit it in one fluid movement before placing the lighter away again. He pulled the bolt gun free of its holster and slowly and with careful precision he pointed it straight at the Thousand sons sorcerer but didn't fire, instead he ordered the rest of the squad around him. 'Squad prepare to fall back, priority target are the cultists worshiping the object, thin their ranks using any means available to you and stall this ritual. Catachan set up the remaining demolition charges in this hallway, when the time comes that we have to leave I want this route cut off from them to prevent pursuit. No one is to leave until I say so and no one shoot the traitor Sorcerer unless I say otherwise.' As he finished Dalimond watched the Sorcerer and waited to see what he did, his bolt pistol was still raised ready to fire but his interest right now was how the Astartes would react to the purge of his congregation.
<Chapel Basement> "Commissar you made a wise choice. I will heed you this warning though I will not attack this place again but, the Night Lords will. Be prepared sons of the Emperor the Terror of the the Night Haunter shadows this system good luck. I will see you all another time friends oh one more thing they will be here in two weeks prepare for Cordile II for an attack may the odds be forever in your favor because I want to kill you by my hands..." Then a blinding flash of light absorbed the room. The cultist still chanted above the box that is control. Their are Twenty of them will you execute them with blade or gun. It has been one hour you have one hour to return for till the Valkyrie arrives.
Dalimond's scowl deepened as he watched the sorcerer vanish into thin air, looking at the cultists that had remained behind he gave a fresh order the smoke from his Lho stick trailing high into the air as he puffed the narcotic in silent rage. 'Purge the traitors... Kill them all!' Tracking the head of the nearest cultist to his bolt pistol he fired placing a shot cleanly through the head of one of the traitors.
Irmina glared at the Commissar, if only for a moment. She couldn't believe he let one of the Archenemy simply walk away!? But she brushed the thought aside and immediately set up a shot, trying to hit multiple cultists with one long las hit. "Come on pups, lets put these godless heathens out of their misery!" She cried to the squad, wanting to butcher every last cultist here.
Jakob pulls the bolt back on his heavy stubber and readies the firing harness and aims at the cultists. "With pleasure sir." He lets rip with the heavy stubber and the rounds tore through 6 of the cultists before he had to change mags. Which he quickly did and he loaded incendiary rounds with the next mag and opened fire agian killing as many as he could as the round hit the men the wounds burst into flames which soon consumed them.
Luther takes careful aim between the eyes on each Cultist. He places a shot on each one that gets in his sights with quick well placed shots. He stays quiet in shock of seeing a god of war here in this war and one against them. It wasn't his absolute first time but he wasn't expecting it. This caused his delay in shouting orders. Shouting now though would be useless since everyone knew what action to take now.
