I doubt it. Something similar was asked about the referal program stuff. The official statement was that while they want to do that stuff they'd prefer to focus on things that affect everyone rather than things that affect a few people. Still, they also said they really wanna get those in so they're trying to find time to squeeze them in.
The orks have the lowest population thus are the lowest priority when it comes to getting things. Just the way the devs are they would rather cater to the many first and set the few on the back burner. It's the reason the orks are missing kombi weapons and their plasma gun equivalent that was sold in the cash shop before founders access. It's also the reason we're missing our looted 'umie bolter still and our chest armors and have a pain boy that is just very.... meh... Anyway they said that those of us who bought the pioneer pack will get "something" to compensate the massive wait but every time I ask about it the question seems to get dodged now as if I was throwing a flipflop at them... I've honestly given up on getting a good answer from the devs when asking about any of the missing items. Honestly I'm breaking from the game as I can't stand the new patch and I'm sick to death with the dodged or ignored questions about missing weapons and items. I have a odd feeling the rush to free to play is just to milk as many people of funding as possible to attempt to make back as much as possible on the game. I mean if you look free to waaagh! was cancelled and they kept saying not in the near future.... It's been what 3-4 months since launch and we're going free to play already.... If that isn't the near future they must not plan for the game to last longer than 1-2 years... I'm not saying the game is going to die... Just reading back on what they have said in the past and looking at the current situation.... It's really looking that way.
Counterargument on the whole going free to play in a short time. Free to WAAAGH was a concept by which orks would be free to play and would be overwhelming in numbers. That model is not coming, at least not unless the game makes the transition to true open world. Ergo not any time soon. Instead we have a free to play option that gives you access to the game as we have it now. Thus not free to waagh any time soon. As for the patch I've actually been enjoying it a lot. Sorcerers and warlocks need a little more armor, at least as much as the apoth and need their offense powers buffed up a bit (with exception of lash and daemonbolt) But otherwise I enjoy that not everybody is tanky. What rubbed you the wrong way?
This isn't directed at you per say but this is the cod kiddie patch... Seriously 90% of all the player are playing basic bitch ranged classes and twitch firing each other down. The support that can defend itself is the apo since it's got access to the bolter "except the wolf priest". They can also do their job much easier than painboy. As far as warlock and sorc honestly I think they die a bit to fast. They need to raise the armor of supports back to the level of the basic ranged classes.... The ttk with ranged weapons also needs to be raised a bit especially since lsm children got a buffed version of warp instability that gets applied from a pixel sized rhino. I digress though these are things that are probably not going to be fixed anytime soon. I hop on the forums still but I honestly can't bring myself to play the game because it feels like trash to me... A ork support main..
It's still sort of his job to give what people payed for (In this case, no matter the quality but just meeting with a realistic release deadline at least.). Unless i misread somewhere that Pioneer packs were straight up donations. Oh well, can't blame them for the delay seeing the..."state" of this game after almost 2 years post alpha release.
