New and Noteworthy Additions: -A bunch of Wargear & Trinkets are now available from Rank 1! -Re-vamped Blackbolt and Olipsis maps are now LIVE! -Cover camera improvements across the board (to give much more aiming freedom while in cover)! -Bolter Weapon mods added (on SM Bolters only, for testing purposes) -Most Heavy class weapons can now be braced! -New CSM Sorcerer and Eldar Warlock powers! -New Eldar Weapon: Twin-Linked Shuriken Catapult! -TONS of bug fixes! Gameplay Tweaks/Improvements: -All of the currently available factions had some balancing done to them, especially the Eldar (Details here: http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/game-design-update-august-2-2016.55644 ) -Players can now evade/dodge when stamina has partially regenerated (no longer forcing them to be at full stamina before using a stamina-draining action!). -Characters can now move while doing a strong/charged attack! -Melee attacks are now more flexible by allowing a small rotation during that move. -Improved lock-on target filtering. Auto-lock should no longer choose an unexpected, far away target! -If the player has high stealth while playing an Eldar Striking Scorpion, they now get a melee damage bonus! -There is a new low cover camera! The cover system now aligns the character with the low cover when they shoot above it, allowing characters to shoot easily around low cover in every angle. Weapon Tuning: -Improved hit box detection and accuracy when using the Lascannon on moving targets, like vehicles. Menu/UI/Chat Window Improvements: -The Quick Turn option has been removed from the settings menu. -New icons for to the new CSM and Eldar Psychic powers have been added. -A new window has been added to the pre-match menu flow in PVE, to give players some visibility on the status and chosen class of their squad mates. -Tutorial servo skulls in the Garrison map will now appear as a small skull icon on-screen (when walking around the map) and as a small circle on the radar. -Downed screen’s bleed-out skull now moves downwards, like the icon above downed characters heads. Art/Visual Improvements: -Lots of small visual improvements across the board (e.g. scenery objects clipping inside each other or buildings, misaligned particle effects, etc.). -Tyranids that use ranged weapons now have a different visual for their shots that is less bolter-y and more Tyranid-y! -Capture point objects have been re-vamped with new visuals (servitors are now rotating inside). -Black Legion armor trim is now entirely gold. Server/Matchmaking Improvements: -Several tweaks have been done to the backend to display total RTC correctly in a couple of buggy situations (including negative RTC balances). -Overall improvements to the item purchasing flow to eliminate some of the cases where people weren’t able to purchase items correctly. Localization: -Lots of localization fixes to the loading screens, settings menus and in-game across all supported languages (we’re not finished, though!). Bug Fixes: -Dozens of collision fixes and stuck spots addressed in several maps. -Lots of small visual bugs (such as one-sided textures that are see-through when looked at from certain angles) have been fixed! -Fixed several AI bugs in the Tyranid Lairs, as well as some progression blockers! -A bunch of holes in the PVE map (which allowed players to travel outside the map) have been addressed. -Fixed a PVE crash related to AI misbehaving. -Several maps had spots where the camera would allow players to see outside of the map boundaries. The known ones have been fixed! -Fixed an issue where spawning certain vehicles in Torias at C would cause the vehicle to spawn on the roof (since there wasn’t enough space for it inside the garage). -Several fixes were done to the Garrison servo skulls displaying incorrect or placeholder info. -Fixed a handful of cases where the scoreboard was misbehaving while other menu items were on-screen when it was opened. -Fixed an issue where sprinting was blocking players from entering vehicles. -Heavy weapon bracing now correctly updates your accuracy on the server, which was causing issues with hit detection on player receiving the shots. -Fixed an issue where the peek-out to the left side of high cover with a grenade was not working properly. -Fixed a few buggy executions, as well as certain executions that were no longer showing blood. -Addressed some issues with hit reactions not working correctly in certain situations. -Fixed a few issues with Advancements (e.g. The Eldar Advancements couldn’t be moved around properly when zoomed in). -Fixed a bug preventing loadouts from being saved immediately after creating a new character. -Fixed some issues where the armour bar or health bar would show up wrong in the UI when using certain Wargear. -Fixed an issue where weapons could be visible while capturing a point. -Fixed a bug where grenades were visible when held by a character in stealth. -The Predator auto-cannon’s zoomed camera no longer clips inside the turret. -Characters can once again be rotated on the HUB screen with the mouse! -Buff icons now remain visible when exiting vehicles. -Plus, lots of behind-the-scenes fixes for Orks and our new maps… Shhh don’t tell!
