You're not seriously complaining about the power axe, are you? Nobody uses it for a reason. This is a positive step in the right direction to making it worthwhile again.
Axe moves further you say? Might have to drop the Fist now for a slightly more...wieldly..alternative.
Chan said he will be giving fist the same treatment. While not as much as the Axe, the slower weapons will be getting more momentum so that they can keep up with back peddlers. The axe now moves at the same speed during melee attacks as the power sword, but further and less often swings. These changes should at least put axe and fist in the same department of viability as the fast weapons. As for the rest of the melee system, we'll have to see.
Maybe it's just me but I'm finding the increased movement of the axe/maul causing me to glitch right through people. I've seen other people do it as well. They need to hotfix that thing it's pretty crazy.
I'd love to try them all out but the new patch has obliterated my fps, weirdly enough not on the fortress though where it's still playable About time the axe became usable though
