Nice sounding weapons. Choppy-Launcha Here's a few ideas I had: Barrel o' stuckin'==> A barrel that is filled with tar and explosive liquid. The barrel is roughly the size of an ork boy, perhaps a bit smaller. When the barrel is thrown, it spreads tar at the impact point that is highly sticky and immobilizes infantry (ineffective against vehicles). Once the tar is spread, the explosive liquid starts to spread along with the tar and soon makes the tar explode. Pros: Highly effective against infantry Cons: Area of effect, might harm your own troops as well Unreliable as all other ork weaponry The tar might start leaking out, eventually starting the mechanism before the barrel is even thrown (might "sticky" the user and explode right at his feet.) Rok Torpedo==> A projectile that is used as a bomb/torpedo against enemy vehicles. The main purpose of this projectile is not to explode, but to pierce the enemy vehicle. The projectile is extremely sharp and heavy, allowing it to bypass allmost anything at the correct speed. The torpedo itself also holds 4-5 boyz inside, allowing them to attack the vehicle's crew if they survived the attack. Pros: Very effective against medium-large vehicles Heavily armored, so it shouln't break when it hits something (it's an asteroid reinforced with metal afterall) Cons: Very Heavy to carry, so fighta bombas might not be able to deliver it to the main target Highly unreliable impact point when dropped. Whippa==> Basically, a long whip with lots of different kind of equipment wrapped on it. Pros: Extremely deadly in close range combat. Many customization options. The whip can be used for slashing and strangling an opponent. The whip can be attached with plenty of materials such as deadly spikes and rokkits (Rokkit whip) Cons: Can only be used by nobs due to the weapons extremely long size. If the user is not careful, the whip might hit him to the face or other part of his body. Molten'-Kannon: Fires extremely hot lava balls that can pierce armor and flesh easily. Usually used as a close combat ranged weapon. If the projectiles hit the ground, they form a small pool of lava that will incinerate anyone who steps on it. Pros: Effective at close range to medium range. Can be used as artillery too if the user has good aim and aims high enough. Almost no recoil at all. Cons: Unreliable in medium-far range fights. The lava shots inside the Kannon' might explode due to extreme heat. Well.. there's a few ideas, lel.
I don't think we really need to come up with any ideas, if you include forgeworld books, as well as the standard codex weapons, theres a tonne of them to choose from.
Two additional ideas: Big Fista/ Fisto: This power weapon originally belonged to a Space Marine Dreadnought. Now its a rather oversized powerfist that requires the user to also carry a heavy backpack just to supply it with energy. As a result, players with this weapon have a greatly decreased movement speed, but can hit like a truck. Da Boosta Boot: Less a really weapon and more of an utility tool, this is a steel-capped boot with tiny rockets attached to it. When the rockets are fired, the Boot moves straight upward, making the wearer perform a very rapid backward flip. This effect would bring more harm than use to the wearer if anyone standing to close to the wearer wouldn't get their jaws kicked into outer orbit during the process.
Stompa's Delite: A Device that you can strap onto your boots using looted Alien Tech. It alters the Gravity of whatever is below it, allowing you to increase the gravity of your boot by many times, letting you stomp their skulls further into a planet than even Gork himself. Only thing is it could take your whole leg off too, sending both Leg and Skull on a one way trip to the planet's core. Still, that just means the Painboyz & Mekz get some more work fitting in a new Cybork Leg. Until that one shares the same fate as the original. And the whole process repeats itself.
Dakka Dakka Shoota rokket launcha a normal Shoota with a rokket launcha on it you can loot enemies or other orks to attach another shoota around the rokket launcha unitl there is no more space all triggers get connected to a rope which is connected to 1 teeth of that ork so he can shoot all shoota at once! every shoota gets feed by an ammobackpack (you should have a big back for this!) prey you never need to reload it!
Looting should be something Orks can do in this game. It is a very fluffy thing....besides..all our best weapons are just things we throw together. -Combi-Weapons- either build or use of change out of the combi portion -Grots- think we should have pets or something else that allows us to take Grots...they can be orderly, ammo runts, Big Mek assistance to increase chance of successful work. Also, don't know if everyone knows this but Killa Kans are not Orks...they are grots...that is why they have a better balistic skill than orks -More experience makes us grow in size...another fluffy item -Kustom Force Fields -Shokk Attack Guns -Combi-Klaws- weapons attached to Klaws -Squig Herding- great idea for maybe a passtime -ability to transfer shootas to larger big shootas or maybe super heavy weapons for Loota's or Snazz Gunz Just some ideas....
