Ork Mechanic that should be added

Discussion in 'Orks' started by SpookySquid, Apr 21, 2016.

  1. If anyone has played Red Orchestra 2 they would know as playing the Russians if there is a big enough group of them while charging they will all start screaming. Now Idk if they plan on adding already or not but they should make a similar one for the Orks when theres a big mob of them charging they all scream WAAAGH! While this is happening it does a kinda suppression on the enemy.
  2. Ian said something about that in another topic, actually.

More freedom to kustomize our wargear in tye looks department.
  4. That and there needs to be a Warboss of some sort on the field that someone can play as or something that fights with the boys

The Ork WAAAGH! mechanic should be added in both Active and Passive forms.
The Active could cause all buffed Orks to scream WAAAAGH! at once, while if a certain level of WAAAGH! buff is maintained then every 10 to 15-sec there could be a chance for your character to yell.

Each Ork player should have a WAAAGH! Active Ability with a moderate cooldown(I.E. 15-sec) and short duration(I.E. 3 to 5-sec) that provides the using Ork and any nearby(I.E. within 3 to 5-meters) with various buffs such as increased move/attack speed and reduced ammo consumption, counting as a Full WAAAGH! buff.

Each Ork player would also Passively generate a portion of the Active buff(I.E. 25%) that is applied only to nearby Orks(I.E. within 3 to 5-meters) and with enough Orks can stack up to a MAX WAAAGH! buff, which not only provides double the benefits of the Full but could also grant other bonuses, such as HP regen.

As far as artificial suppression, it should definitely not be part of the Ork WAAAGH!, just as it should not really even be a part of EC in general.

Ork players should be able to spawn as a Warboss as an Ork Hero Class.

Wonder how divers our warbosses will actually be. If they will just be like 1 of 4 pre constructed ones for lore sake or if we would get a pre fight loadout screen for them for when we do get to play as one.
  7. Maybe we'll get skins or bits we can stick on them :) that will vary them up a bit. It is a possibility that ork faces for example are one of the reasons they are releasing last, else all your orks will look like the same boyz :D

Hoping for size differences, to either just scale the model up making it bigger with more HP with certain loadout options. Obviously bigger also makes it easier to hit (and possibly slower), or alternatively, for different size bosses altogether.

I meant more in terms of gameplay. I honestly don't care about the small cosmetic stuff since when I'm playing a game i rarely just sit and stare at them while they gun down waves of enemies.

I was thinking more like will they get to be more mek boss or giant goff. Will I be able to use a big freebooter cutlass choppa or can i walk around with a massive shoota capable of shotting a thunderhawk out of the sky. With I be able to shed all my armor but take a perk that basically allows me to ignore small arms fire because I'm so big 'n tough. Will I get my own kustom bubble field or reactive tellyportah.

Bosses always have the coolest stuff and I hope gameplay reflects that.
