Ork Faction Specific Respawn Timer

    How would you guys react if Orks were given a respawn timer decrease based on the amount Loadout Points they have on that character loadout? Would you think that would be balanced and fitting for the ork faction?


    ie. Naked boyz get in the fight faster than flashier boyz, etc.

    So i'll have people in fortress sieges deplete the tickets even quicker.... i think i'll pass.

    Outside of being on the defensive team of the already disgusting gamemode Fortress.

    The problem is.. people would still load in with those loadouts, because they had no way of knowing which game they were going to play. And there is no guarantee that they won't use these 'naked' loadouts.

    Don't get me wrong, i like the idea of Orks being a Horde, but lately i've seen enough reason not to want it. We already have way to many players running around outside in defense modes, trying to melee the enemy,... and imaginging they'd do it with a Naked Ork, because they are used to getting quicker respawn times that way... i just think that breeds a bad habit and atmosphere.

    I already wish there was no "waaaagh" phase on a Fortress Siege Defense.

    Ork boyz not being orky? What is this blasphemy? The orks are supposed to be the horde faction,well just barely as they're almost just reskinned space marines with a few statistical changes atm. There's really faction ability variety for orks but the WAAAGH! mechanic.

    Its the reality of the game we are in. You would have to come up with entirely new game mechanics for and against Orks. I do not believe that is feasible at this point.

    And the Waaagh! mechanic is a handicap for the Orks on a Siege Defense due to the fact that you instantly die and nobody can pick you up, meaning Orks lose tickets for deaths that would have been avoidable.

    I like the Waagh mechanic in other situation, but on a Siege Defense its just a detriment.

    They have removed the WAAGGH mechanic for defending orks on seige defense just recently.

    I am with you on that one. It would be great if Orks would be in a perpetual Waaaagh mode. No pick up, but instant respawn. For anything that isn't using tickets it would be great.

    But i also think it would be unfair due to what this game actually is like.

    That must have been really recent... i remember.. it like 2 weeks ago on Harkus.. but now that you say it.. i don't think i've seen it on the few Maggon and Zedek maps recently. Not that i am lucky and seeing a lot of fortresses.
  10. Cuuld make it so dat da less points Orks control da fasta' dere respawn toim be. Dat way it cuuld simulate a horde o' orks wifout actually needin' a horde o' orks. Wen orks only gotz one point, er even none, den dey all start rapidly chargin' from wun locashun. Az dey control moar o' da' map, dey loze dis bonus and spawn normal az evaryone else. Uv course sumfing loik dis wuuld probably mean replacin' da current WAAAGH! wif it
