'Firebat' recorded what was in the storeroom and moved on to the battle. He was cautious in his approach. No extra sounds was released from this machine man. He was serious on carrying on the mission.

"That is what they call heavy fortifications? My old gang would have given more of a fight....." Takeshi noted, kicking a dead cultist in the side to make sure he was dead, before giving him a double tap to his brain as it appeared he still was groaning. "So what now?" He asked nobody in particular and extra loud so his voice would echo off the walls, or some reason he always enjoyed that, or perhaps he was trying to lure an enemy out in case someone was hiding?

  3. Ferenien cut the energy feed to his beloved lasgun as soon as the battle ending, Joules of cooling power audibly whistling through the now deactivated rifle, the Tempestor ejected the cooling cell, now a skeleton of it's former coolant-filled self; it was replaced by another that had been retrieved from the power pack's reserve supply. Ferenien would then clip his cooling gun to the power pack, left to idly work by itself behind him. The battle had concluded; it was a victory, or seemed to be one, Votum would send a command to his Gravity-Chute, pulsing gravity beneath him to jet him off the balcony- A smooth-ish and short descent later, he would land on the main battleground, assessing casualties from the opposing force and joint assault force. "Take our own dead away; Then, burn these corpses; these pestilence riddled heretics will not return to their false warp-shamed god seen as if they were human." His voiced echoed from the respmask voice projector along the battered halls of a once-beautiful cathedral.

"Watch out, this is not over yet," Ogedei replied as he inspected the wound on his leg, thankfully due to the type of the weapon there was no blood spilling out of it. "Flamer teams on me, I want you to purge the taint as well as take out couple of barrels with the unholy stuff I spied on my way down. Once we clear this level, we proceed on the next. Also, some of you help me take all these corpses and put them on a pyre outside. Nurgle worshipers tend not to worry much about the death and only safe way to get rid of them is to burn their corpses."

  5. After the battle concluded, Kais put her Lasgun onto her back, and took off her helmet. She scanned the battlefield and spotted Sedric. "Someone has fallen!" She ran over to see if she could save him, but the inch long hole in his chest proved there would be no saving him. She propped him up against the wall, and kneeled. "May your passing be remembered, for those that seek to further the Tau'va will never forget you."

She stood up, put her helmet back on, and grabbed her Lasgun. "Who's next?"

    ~~Cathedral~~
While the corpses of the battle were being disposed of, loyalists taken to one side to receive their last rites while the heretics got put into make-shift pyres by the assorted PDF and Enforcers and were given a fiery send-off, leaving the barrels of pestilence to be removed with some more promethium from the Flamer teams. As the clean up operation was going on the Retinue saw their Skitarii come up from the stairs that the Elites were defending, with Archen and General Terhan walking in via the now safe main entrance. Archen said "Well, I'm impressed, I wasn't expecting the mad Vostrayn's plan to actually work as well as it did. Still, I think we have wiping out the rest of the cult under control." Alicia nodded in agreement to that assessment as she freed her foot from her own Power Sword and put the weapon in its sheath, as she said to Archen "If that's the case, then I can follow a lead my investigation turned up.... Everyone, we're heading back to the ship, no ifs or buts."

~~Some hours later, on board the Obsidian Wraith, in orbit over Verdan Prime~~

Once the retinue had returned to the ship, they would find that they had some time to attend to their personal business matters while their wargear would be given a proper stint of maintenance in the ship's Forge, while Alicia got the paperwork of her inspection of Verdan Prime out of the way.
If any of them tried to find Astra however, they would find that she had departed from the ship, her quarters now left non-descript and somewhat less colourful by her departure. With Astra having seemingly left the retinue and the death of Sedric to the hands of servants of Nurgle, it meant that two of the original members of the motely crew were gone, to be replaced by a Scion and a Fire Warrior.

  7. Kais sits in a cell, aboard Obsidian Wraith. It's not very big, only around 6 feet wide, with a seat in the back. It's shaped like a rectangle, the door being 20 feet or so away from the door. Kais sat down at the end, trying to figure out how she got here. I never should've helped them. What'd I gain from this? Bullets in me, and I lost an arm, Kais thought. Kais stands up, and walks over to the cell door. She banged on it with her bionic arm as loud as she could. "I want to talk to someone, I don't deserve to be locked up!"

'Firebat' is back in his rooms. You see him tending to various venomous and poisonous animals. Extracting toxins from these animals and plants, he starts experimenting.

  9. Ferenien wandered the ship and it's corridors, being a man not very familiar with how to spend one's free time. It was rare for the Scion to bow away from a set schedule, such a thing was conditioned with numerous floggings as well as lashings; yet now the Scion has the opportunity to do such a thing, relax, he did not know how to seize the opportunity correctly-- There was another problem, well, to him, idling on a ship after a couple fights meant that he would not have his armor, it would be on a maintenance right for repairs and improvements-- He would be naked without his armor, well, not naked, just unprotected. Ferenien wore his Scionic Red 'Duty' Pants tucked into his unarmored dusky combat boots. His top appearance would be a sleeved bodysuit with metallic access ports for armor segments to be locked atop snugly-- All covered by a beloved coat of his Scionic Outfic-- The 68th Deltic Lions and the coat they bestowed upon him, he wore this to maintain a somewhat professional appearance, it remained over his body, unbuttoned, yet on, it drooped over the floor, at least a half an inch above the peak of his boot's soles, looking beautiful in his eyes- Yet there was one problem, he had no facial coverage----- They could see Ferenien's face.

Appearances aside, Ferenien wandered the ship, his boots giving away his position as they produced audible thumps atop the flooring, he would peer into the unlocked rooms that were not for the others to sleep in-- All the while maintaining a concentration on thoughts, a good way for preoccupation is to walk around and think it seems.

"Shut it already Xeno, you make my head hurt with all that banging." A younger man with deep voice complained, slurping from a mug. He had simply a bodyglove on, by what the alien had to guess, though it was in fact just Arbites training clothes. He yawned and scratched his buttcheeks a bit. "Slept like crap, you probably no better, eh? Look. You wanted to talk to someone, here I am. So what's up, blue...." The Arbites-Ganger looked up and down on that creature, not really knowing what the hell it is. "Thing.... I assume you don't like your new quarters? Welllll I would be guessing the Inquisitor ain't know whether to trust you or not. The Kroot runs free after all." He chuckled, loving the teasing already.
