Putting on power armor takes a little bit, since all the parts needs to be calibrated and proper rituals observed. It would be more of a hinderance to try and put one on in the field than an asset. This is just from what I understand of power armors from the Deathwatch PnP books. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.
Power Armor can not just be put on and off as you please.... Techmarine / Servitor assistance required. You need someone else to put armor on, like the knights during medieval times, it's not like clothes
Oh I know. I was wondering if the Space Wolf force would bring said servitors and power armor with them for Wolf Scouts (veteran Space Wolves in their own right) as an earned honor kind of thing ::shrugs:: am I making any sense? lol
If not it's not a big deal, just a curiosity. I would then assume my armor is back at base camp, lol (as in not with the Space Wolf Force, for clarity's sake)
As far as removing power armor is concerned, I do believe a marine can shed pieces of power armor solo if it becomes too damaged, the armor itself disengaging seals and whatnot sympathetically. Not to say the process is quick or even smooth, but I'm pretty sure I've read a number of books where damaged armor was discarded in favor of being able to actually breath or move and such, though I have also read a few where the armor loses all power and locks the hapless marine inside like a giant space sardine (This having no bearing on my now clarified power armor issue obviously.)
If it goes extremely damaged.... Uriel Ventris ripped his armor off in a novel after it was literally falling apart, it was so far damaged, the power armor did not even power him anymore.
