Eldar are most underplayed in the RP, next round most likely gonna be chaos, imperium will be rarest and if, unlikely that first round gonna be astartes ^^
Not a problem Urian, I just don't know enough about them to comfortably play them, so I'll just sit this one out.
We will have 'sit-outs' often enough.... Tau will be interesting as they will have most sit-outs I assume (among with Sororitas)
Shadowed Sting Shrine Exarch Korlynth Lythilan (m) Ashera (f) Shalyth (f) Melathian (m) Idarius (m) Uldarian (m)
Before we jump too deep into the rabbit hole, I want those of you playing Exarchs to know exactly what you're playing. Your character is actually a conglomerate of souls held in various soulstones adorning the Exarch armor you wear. The character is not a lone mind acting solo, but a bunch of souls guiding and directing the most recent wearer of the armor. When the wearer dies, their soulstone holds their soul in the armor, and the armor is stored away in their shrine. Then the next person trapped on the same path comes to the shrine, and having no other recourse, imbues their soulstone, dons the armor, becomes mentally associated with all of the other souls, and restarts the shrine. The new exarch is no longer who they were, and no longer bear their own name, but bear the name of the original exarch who founded the shrine. This is not by choice per se but by slow assimilation with the other exarchs' souls and a sense of unity in perspective removing individual names from thought or from need. You might have entered the shrine as Marelith, but when you donned the armor, you became Thinirian. You are not just one person, but many, all of which dedicated to perfecting the art of your aspect shrine. There may be some personal quirks (like the Dark Kin above and his possible actions) but they will be toned down by the consensus of the other souls guiding your body. This both gives you a little freedom against character traits, and adds a little complexity to your character's perspective. You can still do as you wish, but there are literal voices in your head that might overrule you should it be out of line. Exarchs almost never leave their shrine on the craftworld except in times of war. They do not change craftworlds. They do not move their shrine. They do not change. Eldar don the armor and join their peers in mind, but they do not change the armor. They do add their experience and knowledge to that of the other souls, and they will alter the personality of the exarch slightly towards themselves, but they will not fundamentally change the exarch. Though you have absolutely no need to go to the depth of detail that Shadslayer did, he did know what he was writing and Maiev is a good example. ^_^ And please, I expect myself to require some guidance when I'm playing a Chaos Space Marine or whatever Uriel requests, so be sure to notify me of any erroneous actions or characteristics I come up with.
