"Khelendria not letting get yourself killed for a bar fight hold fast friend you can take the pleasures of Khaine another time but for now calm yourself." Vamir ready to face any punishment from the Daughter of Khaine, he was half tempted to hold her like an angry child but he knew better.

Khelandria fought down her confusion and budding psychosis enough to nod. She took some deep, deep breaths. It wasn't natural to her. But as she had had to tell herself before, less slaughter now, more later.

"I ... will keep calm ..." she said, through clenched teeth. It was like that time she'd had to not kill the nobleman's daughter who'd insulted her employer's honour. Or the time she'd held back from slaughtering the ones in the market square. Or the ...

She hated this strange new way of war, but with hate, all things are possible.

When the joint effort of multitude of different characters jumped into the fray, the mob of locals was quickly taken out. Eventually, none of them was left standing - they were lying down on the floor amid the spilled drinks and their own blood, moaning and groaning, the broken bones and severed limbs too much for them. Barkeeper almost pulled out the remaining hair he had on his now completely bald head but calmed down a bit after Sebine gave him couple of gold coins.

The somewhat silent atmosphere was broken by slow clapping. "My, my, that's a fine example of a tavern brawl," the stranger finally spoke as he rose up from his chair, a wolfish smile creeping across his lips as he also tossed couple of coins to the owner of the bar. "Once again I'm sorry for the mess, hopefully that will be enough," he spoke to the man after turning back to the rest of the crew. "As for you people, follow me please."

Walking out of the tavern, the stranger led those gathered outside the village itself, evading any possible retaliation which the rest of the angry villagers might come up with now that their "main force" was taken out and was drooling on the tavern's floor. They went down the road and couple of minutes later, the village of Hasselhund was lost behind them as they reached a crossroads of sorts, with a wooden road mark pointing to multiple sides of the world, but any words on it were washed away long ago.

"My name is Thomas Constantine and I'm happy to see that so many of you replied to my post," the man began, pulling out couple of scrolls from his pocket and handing them out to every person. "I represent a powerful mercenary guild with the location in Altdorf and we specialize in various things, most of them being solving other people's problems and acquiring until then impossible-to-acquire artifacts from various hostile locations."

"In your hands you see the contract. If you accept, for every completed mission you will receive 150 golden coins, with possible bonuses including but not limited to: items, weapons, real estates. If you die during the length of the contact, your remains will be dealt with according to your wish or your faith and your belongings as well as the rest of your gold will be transferred to your families. If you don't have one, it will be donated to Temple of Shallya in Middenheim. You will also have a place to stay and will receive free medical care, blacksmith services and food as long as you are the member. There are only two rules - we always do our job to the fullest and we don't kill innocents."

"That is all. If you have any questions ask, if not here's a pen and you can sign the contract and our new assignment can begin."

OOC Nothing nefarious really, just a standard "adventurers" contract :D When this is done, the real mission will start with my next big update :)

Vamir was the first to sign the contract without a word. He needed something to do. "I am ready what ever is to come Thomas." After signing stood next to Khelendria to see what her action would be.

Mariah sighed as she walked up. She then unfolded her arms, took the pen, and with a praticed metheod, signed her name. She then crossed her arms again and leaned against the sign, "I sure hope you can back up these 'rewards', Thomas. Many promise such things, but only have empty words and nothing to show for it in the end."
  7. Though Tugg had originally been slightly saddened by the rapid end to the fight, and the knowlegde that he alone couldent just start punching these humans, since they all went down so fast, and aparently it was wrong to eat dead ones.
So instead he followed the man who had beckoned them to do so, on the way out he picked up a severed arm, no need to let it go to waste.

As they walked out, the first thing the ogre did when they stopped, was rip two fingers off the hand before dropping them down the casket, experimentation it could be called, fermenting human.
then he took a crunching bite consisting of most of the arm.
"Oi cant write in yous speaking Thomads, but sure, ill fight with yah if you got food'n stuff" Tugg said in between chewing, before stuffing down the rest of the arm, it sated a bit, but the ogre was still pretty hungry, and disappointed the fight haddent brought more food, sure he could drink more of his motly brew, but he had to save some of it, some of the yeasting and fermetises where not easy to find, as well as applying gut majik to the drink without drinking it, he had to always spare a little... unless he was starving, but then the group seemed to have lots of things to eat.

Kristoff shook his head at the mention of lands and coin as reward, what use were those things to a priest of the Wolf God? "Ta hell with your bloody coin lad, you lead me to some mean looking beasts to smash, I'll be happy." Kristoff signed the paper, with surprisingly refined handwriting. He then wrote down Vorgen as well, and the Ogres name. Tugg, or something like that seeing as the lumbering oaf couldn't write.

"So, oh mysterious one, what do we get to kill first?" Vorgen walked beside him, eager to taste flesh and blood alongside his brother.

After the bar brawl had ended from the actions of the likely out of town people and she'd followed the man who turned out to be Thomas Constantine, Alozia felt that she had found someone who was finally offering her a job that was actually worth taking. Considering that not only gold was on offer given that she got extras such as food, medical care and potentially even more things down the line.... Given the generosity of the employer she also got the impression that the job had more than it's fair share of danger lurking in the wings.

Frankly, Alozia felt that she would be a fool to pass up the job and so she walked up and took the pen. the Sorceress then quickly signed her name onto the scroll she had been given and then handed it back to Thomas. She could only hope that the Witch Elf was also interested in the job, for she was certain it would mean that Khaine had given his blessing to the blood that would be shed during the course of the contract.

Sebine turned the offer of the pen down bringing out what looked like an ornate seal and added a bit of ink to it and placed the seal onto the contract revealing her name and a faded family name "well whats the first mission then mr tomas"
