As they approached the town Tuska started to play more quietly though he had been playing the entire time they were marching somthing didn't seem right about this place even from an orc's perspective. As they went past the first house he squeezed all the air from the pipes and put it into his pouch that was under his cloak. When they stopped their little march in more or less the outskirts of town he noticed several people go to explore on their own. He recognized the anger coming from the priest and decided to follow out of curiosity. He figured there was a chance to get into a fight which his Orc instincts could not allow him to pass up a fight even for a second.

Khelandrai hung back; she was reluctant to admit it, but the appearance of a Bride of Khaine (pale, elegant, pointed teeth) was likely to be confused by a simple peasant populace with their Vampiric overlords. And a wider peasant populace might be a problem all its own. She turned to Wiebke.

"You know these folk's ways better than I. They have no temple - do they forsake the gods in fear of their masters?"

[OOC @Casavay Also haven't seen @Valonox in a while, is Vamir still with us? ]

    <Contract#2 - Oakwood> @Grall_Stonefist @TuskatheDaemonKilla @Vulpas @lord-watchman @Jorimel @Skarboy @matt23 @Keidivh @Maleth @Casavay

OOC FYI, I'll bot @Casavay char a bit and will push @Vulpas @Skarboy @lord-watchman alongside Constantine.

    @Jorimel @Casavay
"Possibly so, but still it's hardly normal for them to completely ignore the faith especially here in the middle of the Empire. Then again, anything's possible," Feuerstolz shrugged after replying to Khelandria, looking slightly uninterested in the whole place. Witch Elf on the other hand could see couple of villagers gathered in front of a house nearby that eyed them strangely now, their hoods covering their eyes to most but not to Dark Elf's sight and they didn't look friendly at all.

Finding himself alone on the edge of the small town, Tugg was free to do his own stuff. Here on the outskirts the Ogre checked the trees bordering the forest beyond and could spot couple of interesting plants, interesting as in barely above average since most of the plants that weren't simple weed carried a strange sense around them that the Butcher could spot despite perhaps knowing what exactly that was, but he knew it was something bad which shouldn't be used for eating. At least not by everyone.

However his senses that the overall place put slightly on alert managed to spot a pair of small blue eyes looking at him from behind a nearby tree. Instead of a familiar sight of a forest goblin or one of their giant spider pets, he spotted a human child, a girl more precise, no more than five years old (if that was anything the Ogre cared about). But as soon as she saw that he saw her, she turned around and disappeared into the bush.

Moving into the town and past couple of houses instead of meeting a big crowd of locals going home after a day of work, Kristoff, Vorgen and Tuska found only few locals muttering to themselves, not paying the newcomers any sort of attention. However that changed couple of moments later where behind a corner they spotted an old lady behind a wooden stand selling all sort of interesting objects. She also saw them and waved at them to come closer.

"Come, come my boys. You've come to the right place. I have it all! Love potions, magical seeds to help with your crops, dragon bones which will protect you from Beastmen pox, Ogre's teeth for better strength and stamina, wherever you need it," she laughed at that, "Even mandrake's root tea for easier sleep and protection from the wood fairies. Whatever you need my boys, I'm sure I can help you with that."

@Maleth Constantine + the remaining few
Aloiza joined Constantine and the remaining trio of mercenaries who followed their employer into the Inn. Ubarin, Sebine and Fulke said nothing while Constantine put up a face which gave away absolutely no emotions, perhaps this was him being professional. In any case, they entered the Inn and much to their surprise, the only living soul inside was the Innkeeper, a bald man dressed in dirty black robes who's skin was covered in ugly scars, a leftover of acne-filled childhood or some sort of a disease.

"I think it's better for you to go and talk to the man," Thomas said to the Druchii Sorceress and went to sit behind one of the tables, followed by the rest of the crew, leaving Aloiza to deal with the local Innkeeper. Why? Only her Employer knew that but then again, if she focused on the man behind the bar, she could sense that something was off with him although what exactly she could not say.

OOC this is my attempt at allowing you to play without my char interfering :)

Fulke eyed the bleak accommodations available to the group, not willing to trust those who had chosen to live so close to the Undead. A godless land who only had leeches to lord over them, honor or no. Without trust and his own knowledge of the Vampire found wanting in this area, the veteran instead decided to look to their defenses for the night. Securing the inn as best as he could manage, ready to carve in symbols and wards of Morr, as well as back-country sigils and "magics" as his fellow hunters called them. Their effectiveness had yet to be proven where a torch and stake were tried and true, but every little bit of protection he could muster was worth the effort, real or imagined.

Being thrust upon the role of dealing with the lone man in the inn by Constantine, Alozia decided that she should do this slowly as she didn't wish to make a faux-pass and shut off any hopes of getting any information from him. So the Druchii approached him slowly, not too slowly to make her seem like something that was an omen of bad news but likewise not exactly rushing over to him like they were two long-separated lovers, while she trying to get a better sense of the man before she even considered opening her mouth.

Once she was at the bar, instead of taking a blunt, brute-force approach to the task at hand by skipping right to the questioning the Sorceress sat down at the bar, produced a small amount of gold from last mission's pay(being frugal with how you spend your coin has its advantages) and asked the man "I'd like a drink." She also put down her staff on the floor, with the tip leaning on another empty stool to help propagate the idea that she was just another customer.... Then once Alozia felt that he'd been warmed up enough, she could start prying into whatever he knew about the castle and it's vampire inhabitants.

Kristoff took a moment to look over the old hags wares before scoffing in disgust, "Keep your trinkets to yourself, my protection comes from Ulric himself, something you folk have clearly lost." He knew he should have expected this impiety, what with them living under the yoke of a vampiric lord. But it was no less insulting to the Imperial pantehon. A true citizen of the Empire would die before abandoning their gods.

"I must say, I'm surprised you aren't selling cloves of garlic, maybe a stake, or some holy water. Seems like that would be more useful to you lot." Not the most discreet way of getting information, but at least he hadn't started trying to beat it out of people... Yet.

    <Tugg> @Grall_Stonefist

Following the little girl didn't turn out to be much of a fuss really, Tugg's great strides helping him keep up. The girl on the other hand led him on a merry chase through the woods, the trees and high bush somewhat slowing the Ogre down only enough to allow the girl to keep up in front of him. Eventually she disappeared into the darkness as the sun slowly sat down behind the horizon and as Tugg got cleared of the forest, he stumbled upon a metal fence in the base of a small hill.

The girl was no where to be seen however his attention was turned on the hill where a building sat surrounded by the very same fence, the building looking quite old and made out of some dark marble, however its distinctive look with hooded winged figures holding scythes acting like cariatides and holding the roof of the building. By the looks of it, it was some sort of a mausoleum or even a temple of sorts...

    <Kristoff, Vorgen, Tuska> @Keidivh @TuskatheDaemonKilla

"Suit yourself," the old woman changed the way she looked at Kristoff, from being quite friendly into being almost angry. "If you don't want to buy, then take your friend and go away. We don't need the likes of you here. We are completely fine as it is, we don't need strangers to tell us what to do."

    <Aloiza, Fulke, Constantine (Ubarin, Sebine)> @Maleth @Skarboy

The bartender eyed the strangers suspiciously as they walked into the inn, not looking like he was glad they were here. Hearing Aloiza's words somewhat turned his attention on her although still looking over her shoulder into the rest of the group.

Taking a dirty glass, the man poured some sort of a vodka in it, the color of it dark brown as if it contained chocolate or something (highly unlikely) and pushed it over to where Aloiza was sitting. "Newcomers ey?" he asked her, "We don't get meny newcomers out 'ere in Eichenwald. Any special reazon you lot came 'ere?"

    EDITED FOR SKARBOY'S PART:

While Aloiza talked to the bartender, Fulke began writing old symbols of protection on the walls of the inn. But as he did it, the air around the symbols began growing more dense as if they caught some nearby magic that was invisible to the eye but present nonetheless. However then he found out that as he continued carving them, he had trouble of doing it as the wood itself refused to be carved, which was of course quite impossible, but as he applied more pressure the harder it became for him to write the symbols down.

@Jorimel @Casavay leaving more room for them to add their reply :) Also, if anyone's wondering, @matt23 is still here although in sort of a predicament and his adventure has been moved into PM atm :)
  10. Tugg was cought in a few moments of consideration, as he stood before the fenced hill, they had fenced it off for some reason, though, at the same time, by ogre lore, if you could break a wall, you had free pass beyond it, and by ogre lore, nothing was too holy to touch.
So after a short moment of thinking, forgetting that humans had their own rules, Tugg decided to just walk through the fence and up the hill. there was something magick in the air, and if he could taste it he could eat it
