Can we please stay on the topic of.......

"Why don't we like fighting against Eldar?"

It is important because there is an entire 1/4 of the game that most of the community does not want to play.

It does strike me it would rather defeat the purpose in normalising the Eldar's TTD (time to die) if you then nerf every weapon that does lots of damage against them. They might as well not bother normalising it if they're to do that.

The PC was nerfed because of screaming bads on the forums and a development team that doesn't play their game that handed the balance to a guy who spent 8 months making a Fallout4 mod instead of working on EC, and when he got done with the second round of drastic across-the-board nerfs to it (free of any pesky metrics or data), he left the secondary mode completely broken and bugged without even noticing.

I'm pretty sure that if they nerf Eldar, they want you to die faster/easier, so nerfing weapons after nerfing your faction would be directly counter to that.

Of course. Who do you think coined the term "EIDF"?

I'm ok with Boltguns killing us faster. I'm ok with everything killing us faster.

Its just the AC I'm concerned about. 2 shots leaves no room for error.

I also think I heard that Plasma guns could potentially one shot us. That's worrying. (Hearsay)

I dunno if you've noticed, but you can get one- and two-shot by a lot of things already. Lascannon, melee attacks, PC and PG (two charged shots, woo!), nades....VEHICLE ROADKILL. I really don't see this being the issue you're saying it will be.

I was responding to Remo with that. I'm not being passive aggressive towards you; most Eldar players display varying degrees of this particular attribute. I'm not hinting or slyly suggesting anything, I'm outright stating it, but that was not my argument and it was not directed at you.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't.

But TTK is already such a fickle thing. I am just concerned this could cause a lot of problems with weapon balancing.

Its at least clear to me the devs have no idea what they are doing with Eldar. It feels as though they are making it up as they go along.

Eldar are hardly alone in that regard, though. Take solace in that; we are all brothers in suffering.

  8. I'm not saying that there aren't more skilled players out there. I'm not saying who is or who isn't. All I'm saying is that most people out there that claim to be so much better at the game may have simply found an unbalanced advantage that allows for them to achieve a higher overall score.

There are a lot of people out there that claim "mad skillz" when in actuality, they may have just found in game exploits and proclaim that its skill level that makes them better. That other people just need to get on their level of skill and that they aren't exploiting unbalanced weapons or game mechanics but playing on a completely fair competitive level and just outperforming the majority.

In many cases, I just see people taking advantage of unbalanced game mechanics.

So, assume the worst and then call them retards?

Besides, what message were you trying to send anyways? That Eldar vehicle's roadkill potential is ok? That it's not ok? Were you just making a point to show they were stupid? I'm not understanding your stance based on what you said.

Though often example 3 there ("for people to run half way across the map instead of redeploying.") is a consequence of example 1 ("extremely common for pugs(of all factions) to grab transports").
