Just a list of my major gripes with the game, perhaps someone has tips for dealing with them or if its a case of wait and hope for balance changes? P.S dont complain about the post, Its clearly titled. Autocannon accuracy whilst not braced - With trigger discipline you are easily able to deal with any targets at any range. This includes out performing Stormbolters at close range and sniping at long range. Melee - The attempted system seems to have a few upsides and downsides, My biggest one though is the speed and distance travelled using sword based light attacks. You can dart across the map, Close range and evade fire. Warlocks/Sorcerer - Very squishy maybe a little to squishy and forced into buff/debuff roles. Perhaps more spells for area denial and a little boost to armor (Not toughness or HP as these may make them to powerful with self healing) AV weapons - Usage against vehicles is great, Ability for some weapons to deal with infantry is a little to strong especially the Fire Dragon fusion weapon. One Shot Weapons - Whilst each faction has them I notice them more on the Ork side, With the large AOE that can wipe out groups and no tracers at all left behind and rocket weapons leave players with a bad feeling when used in 1v1. Slow projectiles such as the plasma cannon not so bad also leaves a large trail. Toughness - Needs to be varied between races more and more war gear to utilize it. This in turn provides a need for more penetration and may lower bolter spam from Spacemarines whilst still leaving it usable. Servo Skull - Nope, Just shouldn't exist, Too powerful for how little risk it requires, especially compared to warlock/sorcerer variations. Also tougher then most Eldar. Lack of Squad Lead - Just no info in tutorials at all and many players not realizing they are squad lead or even how to utilize it. I am trying to make it to 10 Painboy - Whilst fun to play he just feels a little underwhelming? Thoughts? any ways to counter some of the items with wargear or playstyles and any ideas on balance? I know devs are collecting data for the next balance patch instead of rushing changes out.
1. Which means you shoot less, which means your real DPS is lower, which means its balanced now. 2. Everyone, devs included is aware of that. 3. Devs responded recently, they are watching performance of supports and will buff them if needed. 4. The same fusion gun, which got EXACTLY the same stats as LSM and CSM meltagun, except dragon is much more squishy then tactical, can't cap and his color scheme makes him walking target practice? 5. Only AT weapons OHK, these weapons have low or no AoE with exception of kannon deffgun. 6. You COMPLETELY missed the point of recent balance revamp patch. Go to steam news and re-read the reasons. 7. Its OP AF, everyone knows it, it'll likely get nerfed. 8. That's mostly players fault here, ignoring the feature. 9. Please don't. 10. Because he is, at least he is somewhat durable.
Now now Katitof there's no need to get aggressive with Gary. After all, Gary is a good vault subject when his clones aren't trying to murder you
Thanks for the numbered responses! Agree with most of it, The Fire Dragon fusion weapon must just be a placebo or the smaller frame making it a pain in the ass.
