Classy! Also my IRL brother's name, and my co-workers, and my co-workers fiance. And of a legendary hero. Whoop Whoop! => Good choice.
I... have to admit I agree with @Uriel1339 ... It (Dra-core) really doesn't make sense a birth name. Some HARDCORE fan did name their child (who was conceived on Skyrim's release date (or some similar date)) Dovahkiin (no "the dragonborn) However, they DID have the incentive of both them, and said child, getting free bethseda games (past, present, and future) for life. So, I mean...unless he legally changed his name. On one sidenote, at least Bethseda made good on what they said. On another, I've often considered naming a child of mine a less traditional name. But something mild still. Dra-core is just a little... EDIT: Okay, cool name change. Messages as you type and all that.
There are quite a lot 'Khalessi' though since GoT is on TV, lol. Also 'Zelda' became a popular regular girl name after the games released, then again 'Selda' I believe already was a regular name.
Selda (the S being pronounced like an English Z in German) is an abbreviation of Griselda, which is an old Germanic name. So yeah, Zelda isn't even a fantasy name, it's simply a spelling variant.
I figured I might as well go into this I mean I've had dreams like this Name-Rico Reiner Gender-Male Age-28 IRL Appearance- (Description, Pic or Mix. Pic or Mix preferred)6.5 slightly over weight he just looks like a normal tall white guy with black hair and blue eyes Favorite Factions-Orks, Chaos Space marines, Chaos Daemons Favorite Units-Chaos lord ,Warboss, Bloodthirster, bloodletter, Ork nobz, Ork Warbikes Favorite Weapons-Lightning claws, power klaw, Bigga shoota, flammer pretty much any melee weapon, flame thrower, or big loud gun would work just fine for him Favorite Tactics-Up close and personal close quarters fighting Personality- (At least a general description, please)Usually a nice guy but he can get really enthusiastic about winning History- (Optional, for those who prefer to develop in-RP)
Reason for that? When it was ported over from Japan "Hyrule Fantasy: Legend of Zelda" (or a similar name) had the main title dropped, and thus the game was called "Legend of Zelda". Which is funny considering that Zelda didn't star (or had a very minor role. Never got very far) in said game. So, the name in the title is Zelda. The main character is really the only Character there. Put 1 and 1 together... In this case, you get 11. Another thing. The scene where you get the sword (It's dangerous to go alone. Take this!) almost didn't happen. The player started with a sword. But people complained the game was too complex. So, they took the sword away, making the game MORE complex in order to foster a sense of community and info-sharing. It seems to have worked. And finally, that iconic song almost never happened. They were going to use an orchestral piece, but couldn't because copyright stuff. So, that historic piece of Gaming ear-candy was composed in ONE DAY.
What you mean THIS song!? View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0m9QUoW5KnY View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0ZoHCRGPYk
An additional thing to the Legend of Zelda thing, the guy's name ain't Link. It is a default name. In reality the hero is YOU! Because in every Legend of Zelda game you can name the dude whatever you want, I called mine usually 'Andi', so it was not Link who was the hero, it was I! Now digest THAT! ..... That said, soooo when we starting? I won't be here from tomorrow on until Sunday evening/night (idk yet), so I perhaps don't even post until Monday, just as heads up!
I think Uriel should roll for initiative (changes the six sided die to all ones and then writes a new CRITICAL FAILURE before game starts) "Here you go...buddy...GLHF!" -puts on bomb vest and takes cover behind the wall-
