@Maleth "Mind if I tag along?" Jimbo piped up at Alicia's suggestion, "If you don't mind me coming with that is. Just figured it'd be better if we don't wander off all alone in this...well whatever the hell this is." As he said this he blankly looked at Wolgang. Traveling down the North door alone. But before Jimbo could comment, he saw Vulpas following shortly behind him. He turned back toward Alicia, with his trademark goofy grin. On the outside, Jimbo looked like how he always portrayed himself as, calm and collected despite their harrowing situation. But on the inside he was freaking out. Not because of where they found themselves. They could be literally in the eye of terror right now, and it wouldn't be what bothered him the most at this time. No, what bothered him the most was that this was happening, he wasn't asleep. But most of all. Wow did he totally botch that confession to Alicia. Maybe everything was okay. Maybe she didn't take him seriously, and he could just play it off as a joke. Maybe she didn't remember and he wouldn't ever have to bring it up ever again. Maybe it never happened and he didn't actually say anything. Whatever the case, playing it cool and with brave face was probably better then breaking down and crawling into a fetal position. Especially if it was in front of her out of all people. "Maybe we should ask and see if we can find out where these doors take us." he suggested, his voice cracking from nervousness. He coughed and cleared his throat before continued, "would be better then just blindly running into even more trouble. Who knows. Abby the Armless may as well behind one of them for all we know." @BadDo9 "HEY!" he shouted to the ether, "The hell is this place?! And what's the meaning behind these doors?!" He turned his head to Alicia and mumbled "I just hope they don't feed me some philosophical bullshit as an answer." @SpaceHulk "Hey, Jim!" he shouted over to the other Jim in the room, "how are you holding up? You look...less green this time around...so. I don't know. Is that an improvement?"
Rico woke up near Wolfgang his head and body ached but he had no visible wounds. He slowly got up and realized his body had returned to his normal human form. He frowned for a moment thinking it really was just a dream but then realized the room he was in and the woman disappearing. As he rose completly to his feet his vision cleared and his pain disappeared this both confused and relieved him. "Where the hell are we and how did we get here?!" He said this louder than he had intended to and everyone in the room heard him.
THE BIFROST < @GobMaw_HellSmasha @lord-watchman @SpaceHulk @TuskatheDaemonKilla @Maleth @Casavay > "All will be explained later. For now, please rest." came a voice from the air. "You will find rooms for just about any desire you may have. HOTEL CALIFORNIA < @Uriel1339 @Vulpas > As Wolfgang and Vulpas walked down a long, featureless hallway, the German would first come across a rippling section of wall, inviting him inside somehow. Vulpas would not see that ripple, but a ribble farther down the wall. If they walked into their respective ripples, they would enter a room, similar to a college dorm, that would be designed in a perfect manner for each of them.
~~ Hotel California (Wot?) ~~ @BadDo9 | @Vulpas "Awkward... Almost reminds me of an event horizon.... Starting to wonder if the station feeds off our mind with telepathy or something... And if we are still in the Warhammer universe, who would have constructed this? Well... Only one way to find out." Wolfgang let his fellow explorer, Vulpas, know before venturing forth towards the weird effect in the wall. However instead of taking it slow, he simply started running towards the effect and jump into it. Who knew what would wait on the other side? Perhaps a cruel death machina like in the Cube movies? Or perhaps some sort of awkward puzzle like in Portal? With whatever courage the Designer could wield he prepared for anything and more that could be met on the other side.
@Maleth | @SpaceHulk | @TuskatheDaemonKilla | @Casavay | @lord-watchman "Well...at least it wasn't some mystical nonsense, or philosophical garbage," he said sticking his hands in his pockets, "still would have liked more of an answer then: 'all will be explained eventually'. I want to know what the hells going on now, not whenever it's convenient for miss disembodied voice." He looked back at his arm, trying to see if he can decipher what the hell this is himself. But the longer he looked at it, the more his head hurt trying to come up with an explanation. And he could almost guarantee that anything he'd come up with would be most likely wrong. "So, any ideas? Maybe this is purgatory. Or some sort of crazy dimension in the warp...I blame Tzneetch quite frankly. This seems like the kind of shit he'd pull for laughs...granted we're even in the same universe anymore..." @BadDo9 "Is there a room for going back home?" Jimbo asked bluntly at the nothingness, "because I think we'd desire to go back home. I can't believe I'm saying this but even I'd like to get back home. We all have families and friends who are probably worried sick about us right now. And we need to get back there as soon as possible, if you don't mind."
@BadDo9 @Uriel1339 "Well if it feeds off our mind it will know what we want, but whoever controls the system will make sure that it will only be thing that won't be harmful for them or others possibly, have to make sure to have safety with there devices, that or its illusionary, Makes me wonder what they want from us if they can already enter our thoughts and are advanced enough to control it." Vulpas said as he headed after Wolfgang through the portal.
Richard walked to an area of the ship he looked around to see if he could see anything that stood out to him (Ooc @BadDo9 )
HOTEL CALIFORNIA < @Uriel1339 @Vulpas > But Vulpas could not follow Wolfgang through the portal, because he couldn't see it. Vulpas could only see his own portal in a different area along the hall. In the meantime, Wolfgang would come out to a college room that would be like a dream to him. Perfect in every way for him. There would be a small shelf filled with 40k miniatures of different types. If he took the time to look, the more the mark on his wrist seemed to be one of those 'Toys to Life' things. THE BIFROST <@GobMaw_HellSmasha @SpaceHulk @TuskatheDaemonKilla @Maleth @Casavay> But no voice came. it seemed they had exhausted that line of questioning for now. < @lord-watchman > There would probably be much around the station to interest Richard. The only question was what direction door he took, as that would determine what he might see.
~~ Hotel California (Okay this is where it gets weird?!) ~~ @BadDo9 He scratched his head as he saw the king-sized bed in a college-dorm like room, just with twice the size. Not really knowing whether to be happy or not, he saw a couple of posters on the wall that would so definitely be from Percy (@Casavay ), as well as the wolf-plush he won her once at a summer fair, sitting in the center of the bed. It was so obscure, but at least his theory got pretty well answered, whatever is going on here - it has psychic-reading elements to it. Looking about the blue-painted walls, the various dressers, cupboards, closets, etc. He spotted a shelf of warhammer miniatures, probably at this point more like devices to allow shapeshifting. Perhaps this was not a station of too highly advanced species, but rather simply a lesser known one like the Lacrymole? Wolfgang decided to walk up to them and analyze them one-by-one, to identify what exactly they were and whether they had any electronics or so in the base or elsewhere.
@GobMaw_HellSmasha + @BadDo9 "Frankly, I'd say it's too early to tell what this place is, especially since some place like this would be far more suited to Stargate than 40k." Alicia replied, a small part of her not happy at Wolfgang dumping the task of looking after Percy on her when she'd clearly said that she'd be interested in finding out what was behind the east door. Alas, someone had to take care of her, so she took Percy under her should and got her friend onto her feet. She then said to Jimbo: "Still, I wouldn't rule out Tzneetch or maybe Cegorach, or even Empy for being the reason we're here however. Anyways, I suppose I might as well find someplace for Percy and us to rest and recuperate from all that fighting, if that sounds like a good idea?" The oddness of this place existing seem too good to be true for her, and frankly Alicia would rather tough out 40k on her lonesome and with nothing to her name than just a set of Carapace Armour, a few hundred Thrones and a Bolter than risk her chances in a place like this, where for all they knew the four Chaos Gods were keeping them as pets!
