You are right with what you claim. The only problem with limitless and unhindered scientific evolution is that it contains the very real risk of creating dangerous threads to mankind. And thus, basically everything that is new is at the same time a possible thread to the reality we know. But you are wrong if you think the Adeptus Mechanicus is comletly against progress. That of course would be futile, after only a few centuries we dare to realease a new invention. What we seek is only to be absolutly sure of all that could possibly result of it. Call it the ultimative paranoya and you will recive approval. But in a Universe so hostile and dark nothing can be truly trusted. -Change results in Revolution-
