I know what a developer is, I know what customer service is. $10 = $10 and the work even that 20.8k cost is not cheap and my entire point that why would they willingly want to pay that? The rest of your talk is just circling the concept that either definition is even relevant to "employee makes $10 per hour to handle X hours of player reports" So you agree then, the devs will incur additional costs for something they can reduce or remove by doing what they did? Actually yes. There is an addon on WoW that we use for cross faction RP events that sends Horde member raid posts over to Alliance raid chat within a second of being posted.
So our other option is to let the devs create some Addon APIs so we can make cross faction chat as an Addon. I mean we could technically all just jump on discord or TS with similar results by using products/software outside of the games internal development. Now I actually would advocate WoW break down and give cross chat, hell in the lore and cinematics the races talk common all the time and I play on RP servers so would love to have a larger base of cross faction RP without external programs or addons. Edit: To be clear a toggle option for WoW and here as well. I realllllly don't support it being completely off. WoWs would be learning how to speak common on your Horde and/or Alliance learning Orcish.

The point was that developers make more than $10 an hour, and since you were so confused about what that other post meant by "developer intervention" that you didn't understand the costs being incurred or the way a developer was different from customer support. They could also reduce costs by removing everything. Every single feature has a cost associated with it. So you agree then, the devs will incur additional costs for animations, which they can reduce or remove? Great, now we can move on. Since you seem to be unable to process the written word, that's mockery. By all means, if you're done trying to perpetuate this farce, you can shift the goal posts again. It won't help you understand any better, but it'll let you think you're saving face.

The removing everything to reduce costs, of course your not wrong but this clearly identifies you don't understand the nuances of the discussion and talk about the most surface aspects. So with that said, you again agree that this still incurs a cost as I mentioned and you keep disputing with semantics or over dramatic responses like "Remove everything to save money" as if that is even remotely close to how minute enemy all chat is in the grand scheme of things. Made the game feel more alive having constant communication, even if it was small stuff like hearing "that was gracefull" on a failed grab.
