All Chaos followers are different in many ways, hence Chaos. Its not common due to the nature of the IW replacing their flesh with bionics but its not impossible. If the Word Bearers, who preach and enforce the worship of all gods as a whole still have parts of the legion who worship a single god and they let them loiter about, i dont see why your little idea is impossible. Heck most everything is possible with Chaos.
Indeed, i see their "worship" of chaos to be just a pragmatic choice on their part. They cut out mutations and replace it with robit parts. Unless it gets to the Obliterater level and the surgeon just gives up?
Actually, the Iron Warriors have vast numbers of actual Obliterators, as that's where they first showed up. Obliterators are created through a virus, which was created by the Dark Mechanicus. So even then, an Obliteratoers changes and mutations is not a gift of chaos.
You misunderstand, i know all about the IW and obliterators. They are just covered in the fleshy mutations IWs would normally cut out, I meant they must give up fighting mutation when it gets that extreme
