  1. Really? I found it kinda lifeless.
  2. Corvus Corax crying a singel tear on Isstvan 5 great moment
  3. The most tear-jerking Warhammer 40k event, now that is a toughy. So much intensity! So many dramatis personas! o_O

I would have to say there are a number of moments where the reader/fan goes: Daaaaaaaamn, that really blows :(, but few compare to the following nuggets of suck (My opinion of course.):

1.) Eldrad attempts to warn Fulgrim about Chaos and is subsequently turned away AND has a slew of Maiden Worlds bombed to hell... Fulgrim's such an ass :( and we wonder why Eldrad such a hater^^^

2.) The Emperor arrives on Nuceria to retrieve a long lost son only to discover he's a friggin' psycho with a death wish :(. He had already 'dealt' with two other sons by this point (II & XI) and a third was just too much ::sigh::, the Emperor needed a hug methinks...

3.) Loken realizes that he's alone on a dead world after the events of Istvaan III and starts to go nuts and hearing his 'dead' friend's voice. How shitty is that? Poor guy gets betrayed AND has a disembodied Wilson-wannabe talking to him. Some tough stuff.

4.) The moment the fire-wreathed badassness that is Magnus' soul being projected through the warp appears before the Emperor and literally ruins everything by trying to save everything. Then the Emperor is forced by His own decree to bring Magnus into custody. Just can't get a break, even when you're god o_O

5.) The saddest story, I think, is that of Konrad Kurze. This guy is plagued by visions of death and stuck on a shithole of a planet that is rife with crime and all of the horrors of 'civilized' culture. He enforces a terrible justice on these shitty people and then his legion begins recruiting FROM THE CRIMINALS in his absence, directly at odds with his intentions(Which he then blows up the planet, good move. EXTERMINATUS!!!). Often criticized and ostracized, Kurze attempts to find someone to help him deal with his plethora of psychological problems only to be persecuted by his more well-off brothers and eventually manipulated by Horus [insert Horus Heresy here]. Kurze had the right idea and was hated for doing exactly what the Imperium does now: Kill them all (with the added nonsense of: and let the Emperor judge them.) Konrad was a pioneer in Imperial doctrine if you think about it... weird... and kinda sad...

    Is that Angron's story?
  5. It's assumed (by me), kind of speaks to the Emperor being more humane (maybe too humane in this case) in my opinion. Read the Heresy books and kinda pieced together a mental timeline. Could be off slightly, but I'm pretty sure that Angron is found after II and XI are 'never to be spoken of again', figured the Emperor was reticent to just off another son ::shrugs:: wouldn't mind a nerd check though :) don't mind having my lore corrected.
  6. Phalanx, almost the entirety of it.

The saga of the Soul Drinkers ended in fire but not in darkness.

    1. That the Emperor forgave Horus when he repented.

    2. Idranel died before I got to...
