Myriad shrines seems dead on their forums, sadly. Plus, it would be a GMT (Well. Europe) based timezone.

    Edited.

Ya my bad. I suck at intel. I edited. That said, I am here to play sir, not think lol !
  3. I think, maybe, most Eldar fanatics are waiting for a playable faction. Add into the mix the possible region lock on servers it's not the time to organise on such a scale.

Organise one? Not to be flippant but if that's what you want, go get what you want. Regardless of what I have just written people would join it I'm sure. I might even join it if you end up on the same server as I do.

I could think about it, but I never considered myself a capable leader. Plus, as you can tell my ideal is to have as much of the Eldar players united as possible, and creating another guild from scratch kinda goes against it.

I do agree that we have to wait until Eldar are actually playable so we can have a bit more estimation as to how many active players are there going to be(though a lot of SM/CMS/Ork players will probably play Eldar when they are released, so our estimates will probably be wrong).

I like a fair faction balance, when practice areas come into play I'd be more than happy to train your new blood, hell when group join comes in I can train them there. I have plenty of military drills and tactics that I can impart. But I don't come free of charge. I expect something in return, Intel, temporary alliance, weapons, something. Orkz don't work for free.

Seeing as I am not in-charge of intel any more lol. I am sure, as an ambassador (self appointed title I am keeping) of the Ulthwe some arrangement can be made. This shall be discussed in further detail eventually.

There probably won't be a faction balance, at least number-wise. We can't be certain, but in general SM/CSM are the most popular factions among the 40k fandom. If Eldar prove to be fun to play or powerful enough we might get "neutral"(i.e people without faction preference or people who aren't 40k fans at all) to join, but I doubt that factions will be the least bit equal. It's possible that Eldar will have more dedicated community and as such higher average skill level, but it's not certain. Plus, if global map doesn't affect the game that much, then SMs/CSMs having more territory won't matter much, at least as far as actual gameplay goes. Then there's the Tyranid factor. Until everything is set in, we can only speculate, but whatever is the case I hope we get a few serious guilds.

I couldn't care less about numbers, if I was the only Ork player on the NA server is be the best damn Ork around. What I'm taking about is skill. I'd hate to fight a weak faction of nubs that can't even hold a spear right. Tactics, strategy, combat drills, those things increase player skill. I'd rather fight an Eldar player that can 4v1 despite its weak frame, than 10 Eldar nubs that don't know how to throw a grenade.

Thinking of it, All we need to do it keep the Eldar forums active. I think this is the key for our community. We need to lite up our forums and show people we are here.

@Jova I agree. Its one of the main reason I am maining an Eldar. I love the faction and my favorite, I just know that LSM / CSM will have many good players. I don't like pwning on scrubs. I can get into a game of Greenies, trash hard. That's not fun though.

I agree 100%. This why I get excited going against a stacked team of clans. The general population skill set is close to the floor not the ceiling sadly.

Makes sense. Ideally, that's how Eldar will be balanced - powerful, but hard to play. In which case training will become a rather important aspect.
