Just reading this post has inspired me to make an Eldar Guild, ready for when Eldar come out / release. I shall start work on it tonight. If any of you want to be part of it, throw me a message and I'll involve you with the progression, and listen to your ideas. I'm going to go by Titles and such, rather than "Ranks" Warlocks (Officers of the guild.), Exarch's (Basically officers of a specific class.) etc I'll be putting a lot of work on it from now on, won't be very high in RP-lore though (Since I'm no good at that sorta stuff.) so if anybody wants to help in that aspect, I'd appreciate it.
Honestly, it makes sense for guilds to start being active right now. While Eldar will play differently from other factions, just playing more together can improve teamwork and make guilds more organazied when our faction is actualy here. And yes, despite both my name and my avatar I will play as Eldar.
If I wanted to fool you, I would have an Eldar-looking name and an Eldar as my avatar. With my current name and avatar, I'm fooling the mon'keigh so I can fight among them and learn all about their strategies(it seems like the most common one is "Don't pick this guy up even though he's standing right near you" and "Don't capture this point even though you're the only one here who can do it").
I think we should consolidate all these smaller guilds into a larger one to fight against the following -Lead Bleechas -Sons of Logar -Lash -PG We need to have one massive clan to combat these guys. I play will all of them regularly. The (PG) crew is well organized and 300+ members deep, website, forums, private Ts3 server. We need to push everything into Myriad Shrines imo. ** That said I will main Eldar, But free agent and have to play all faction / races for movie compiling, editing, and networking reasons.
Yes, the bottom line is that we need to organize. The fact that Eldar aren't in the game doesn't really change much. Orks are even further away than Eldar are, but Lead Belchas are a strong guild already.
We need to get this shit moving, Eldar should (tm) be out on the tester server for the founders to play test. We just need to get our community rolling @Demetri_Dominov and @Andraina know whats what. Lets get them in here. Now that the time is close, time for us all to rally. @Demetri_Dominov or @Andraina could you guys get new thread going for information about the clan ect ?
Huh? What am I volunteering for? And what's this about a super guild? NOOOPE! I don't think we need a super guild.
We are going to be at a disadvantage because of our numbers. However, it's possible that guilds of other factions won't be good at coordinating with each other, or there might even be rivarly between guilds. Creating a super guild is our chance to even out the odds a bit. So instead of bunch of small guilds that fight by themselves we will have one large guilds that fights as one. I think there are two ways we can go about it: 1. We can merge most of our existing guilds into one super guild, that will have same leadership, same website/VOIP channel/same rules and same ideals. 2. Or we can create a sort of federation of all the guilds. Guilds that are part of it will preserve their identity, will have separate facilities, like websites and VOIP channel and have their own leadership. However, delegates from these guilds will form the council of our Eldar warhost, thus all of the different guilds can still act as one on the global scale.
The bigger the guild the bigger the drama. My 2 cents. It's better having a combination of guilds of small and big guilds and the war council orchestrates the show. Yet each and every player should feel free to do what they want. (Write on a phone to forums !@#$)
