Yeah but it still doesn't make sense that in order to use it you need to be locked on to a target which should ensure 100% accuracy anyway. If they wanna give it a miss rate then the sensible answer would be to remove the lock on for it because as it is now, it is just going to lead to confusion and frustration.
In case anyone was interested this problem is also on the reaper launcher. Shots will fire and travel at an angle resulting in them missing as well. With the changes to aimed starshot, travel time, and blast radius it also makes it difficult to impossible to use it at long range even with guided shot.
So I decided to do some testing with the starshot as well. Like @RageScreama said the problem is definitely there, by any movement will get the missile back on course for a hit. Due to the projectile size it also means more hits when comparing scoped and unscoped. Still an issue. @jbregg Would love to see some official dev feedback on this as to whether it's a bug or intended.
