Kickstarters For Side Projects And Additions To Game

  1. I think that it's time people use the resources provided to them by the internet one of which is kickstarter. To ensure the player base gets what they want, kickstarters can be setup and the ones that the players want to be in the game will get funded. What do you guys think?

I'm not paying £5,000 to have lunch with the Dev team, I hate those stupid tiers on kickstarter.
  3. I was thinking more along the lines of the community donates out of the goodness of their heart rather than for personal gain. Although, getting personalized dog tags or some kind of small medallion on your armor to show you supported the game would be a fairly nice incentive.

I want oculus rift support, really detailed character creation and early access

  5. Oculous rift would be terrifying, but amazing with a game like this. I don't even want to think of all the kids who'd be playing and then crap themselves as a tyranid in hi-definition jumped out at them from behind a rock. :p

Yeah because a first-person Virtual Reality Headset would be so cool in a third-person shooter......

Think before talk! Just because things are new doesn't make them better, look at the new iPhone generation, just minimal better than the one before. iOS7 ways worse than the predecessor, Xbox One, also most likely worse than the 360 (except hardware lol!), new =/= better

What I would like to see with a CROWDFUND campaign (not forced to be on kickstarter, but a CROWDFUND campaign) if bE should decide to do such thing should be really amazing things and not just to make extra money for what they had planned anyway.

E.G. Voice / Gesture specific commands, Console Ports, Forum extensions, App for Tablet / Phone, perhaps mini-games or other additions on a website so if you cannot access the game you at least can check leaderboards, etc.

Or for example if the servers / technology is too expensive that they would crowdfund for an initial setup to make for example international servers possible.

  7. Kickstarter doesn't work that way with this kind of project. They should give yearly discounts for subscriptions or buy the game, extra money for skins and such. But in this case i think is not required since it seems GW is fully supporting them.

Dont need kickstarter, they can just add founders packages.

If one want to support there you have it.

I think they meant in general Crowdfunding and not kickstarter in particular ;)

although you say that there is still that, get a small incentive reward for giving money.
