lortharl simpely stood still watching the others after she had awoken a small pad of paper in hand and a pen noting down any details she could about her crew mates
Troy His face flushed with anger at the comment. "What are you rambling on about! The Dominators wouldn't wake us up unless something bad was happening! I'm a miner I can't fix a ship!" He started pacing back and forth. He couldn't understand why everyone was so calm. For all he knew the ships hull was already breached.
"Relax." The pilot said with a smile, making a happy Xyr-hop as one of the was a fellow Xyr! "You are part of the fourteen chosen that get to be awaken with us, enjoying the entire trip and also help determining which planet is best for us! Also not sure if everyone of you were told but.... This is our chance to get free from The Dominators. They gave us a chance to build a new civilization free from their control and then in multiple milleniums they come and try to take us over again. So yeah. We better do a good job so we can live in freedom!" The creature made exciting hops right and left. "Who wants food?!"
Troy His fears of being sucked out into the vacuum of space temporarily forgotten. "You must be joking!? A fresh start! Sounds too good to be true. I could definetly eat though. Can you explain what exactly is going on though?" The shaking had subsided for now and for the first time since he could remember he actually felt hope.
Sterlean felt offended by her fellow Xyr not showing enough respect for the gravity of the task ahead of them, yet even she had to agree that she was feeling rather hungry. So she gave a predator's glare at the Xyr and then growled at him with "Would you mind showing where we are we going to get our food then? For I don't have time to hear the babbling of these children." But upon hearing the human ask another ridiculous question lead her to skitter up to him and then throw her right claw across his face. She then yelled at him "If you dare to ask one more stupid question, I will personally throw you out the airlock!" Her irritation towards the human stemmed from the fact she already knew what was happening, and that the human didn't seem to grasp the fact that this endeavour was quite real.
"Well we are approaching the first solar system in this galaxy! So yeah.... Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner or whatever you wanna call it is ready to be served on the Observation deck!" The Xyr said enthusiastically, followed by an own stomach-grumble. He blinked at the reaction of the female Xyr that came out of nowhere, hurrying to get in between and push her off the human. "We are here together, don't insinuate fighting! Come on! I hope it's just your hunger speaking! Come and I show you!" His claws got around Sterleans, trying to pull her along the way.
Reaching up he could feel his cheek already starting to swell. "What's your problem?! Not all of us were told what's going on!" Hearing the threat of being thrown through the airlock brought back his fear and hit him harder than the slap across the face. "Woah woah woah! No need to go and do anything like that!" He stepped away and didn't say another word.
Enyo 216 awoke in his stasis pod. After realizing he was now truly awake, and not another dream, he smashed the release. A little harder then intended, it cracked under the force and released its captive. Enyo didn't have any of the temporary sicknesses that happens to inexperienced stasis travelers. He instead had a status rash running along his neck and his thick left arm. Enyo quickly scanned the area, seeing other colonists awakening. "Have we been attacked?"
Brand silently observed the entire spat her teammates seemed to have, and attempted to address the Xyr that had awoken them, hoping her sign language would be enough to get his attention. *I would like food very much*
Sterlean sighed out loud when the other Human spoke, for it became clear to her that all of the Humans were idiots that didn't even deserve to be part of this colony expedition. So she turned around and spat at the other Human with "No, we are not under attack you fool! We have just arrived at our destination and are going to get some food." She took a breath then commented aloud "By the Dominators, it seems that every Human is dumber than a bag of rocks." With her comment over, she pulled her claws out of the Xyr's grasp and then said to him "Just lead the way to the observation deck, I tire of this group of idiots." She was ready to follow her fellow Xyr to the observation deck so that she could finally have some food, as indicated by her front legs tapping a beat on the floor. Sterlean just hoped that she would be able to train this bunch of kids, for they were demonstrating a considerable lack of intelligence, or even simple common sense to her.
