As Valpine looked at the chemicals that spilled on the ground she looked for several more Viles like them. Possibly to use as something to open locked doors or magnetically closed doors or possibly enough to make a small hole If she found any she kept one around her belt Then wen't to the other lift and began trying to open or looking for a alternate panel for it.
After keying in the numbers, nothing seemed to happen for several minutes until a faint whirring noise could be heard as ancient systems slowly came back to life. Things were looking promising until a hatch opened up on the ceiling and a small laser turret popped out. "ACCESS DENIED. USER AUTHENTICATION FAILED. INITIATING TERMINATION PROTOCOL 7-BETA" Bright crimson beams flared into life around the turrets main housing as sensors activated and swiveled around to lock onto Andros as the turrets barrels slowly rotated up to firing speed. Valpines search was interrupted as the blaring horns roared into life with the warning message and the laser turret began to spit out beams of death towards its first target, Andros. GM Note: You still have your training blasters and at least 2 x Training Grenades which both are set to electronic frequency's to interact with the armour and therefore ARE effective against turrets but not flesh. _____________________________________________ Voice became louder as two shapes turned around the corner and saw the trapped Straf. Looking at each other, the two figures slowly came forward cautious of an ambush before reaching him. However, instead of helping him, they paused momentarily. "Who are you and how did you end up stuck here. The order to evacuate was issued over an hour ago . . ." Looking at their uniforms, the two figures lacked any insignia and were wearing pitch black combat armour with light blue field markings which would list them as most likely Imperial Marines. That meant that at least 30 hours had passed since the beginning of the mock assault and the fleet had already arrived . . .
Valpine Really wished there was cover but it was now blocking the doors. near the turrets she cursed and raised her blaster. "Andros WATCH OUT" She yelled as she took shoots at the turret. trying to cover Andros. She took aim and fired at the turrets hoping to short one of them out. she got ready to move as it came and began firing she looked for anywhere to find cover for her and Andros.
"Oh I'm just another imperial citizen that likes to wander on to highly deadly training exercises in a military academy and my usual pastime is to get stuck in extremely perilous situations where I'm starved of food or water for hours on end. Come on guys! You can't see the uniform? I'm a mechanic, I was looking for someone to help me because my friend took a pretty bad hit when the initial explosions occurred. Do I look like I have a choice as whether or not I had a say in being stuck here?" Straf replied, at first sarcastic but his tone changed slightly as he shifted his voice to 'explain' the current situation.
Andros began running in random directions hoping to throw off the turrets targeting system. He shot wildly at the turret hoping to hit it and potentially stop it from operating. His luck was just horrible today! Couldn't SOMETHING go right for them at least once! He would be glad once this was all behind them!
