To answer your questions. While some iconic characters will be in the plot lines, major battles will have almost no appearance except in conversation or reference. I have no plans to alter the timeline of the Star Wars history, if that were the case I would of played Empire at War lol. Nah I didn't mean it like that. More like a Star Wars Battlefront experience. Overall outcome still the same, though our objective would be in jeopardy (e.g. capture the backup generator to make the Hoth invasion easier for the rest of the troops) but I respect your decision. Still going to stick with option B though (Free equipment removes one of the stuff I like to work towards as a character). On a side note, I also enjoy Empire at War thoroughly myself, as well as the expansion pack.
Would've been nice to be done shooting and waiting for a debrief at Hoth just to see Vader stalking around with his posse like a badass XD.
