  1. "I had to open my fat fucking mouth." Frank cursed at himself as the Vertibird did evasive actions to avoid most of the missiles right after being told by multiple soldiers about how said missiles could bring the aircraft down. Loading and readying the assault rifle that he picked up from the crate before they left, hoping B4rk wouldn't take it as an aggressive action of a P.O.W., and aimed at the buggy chasing them down. It was hard to aim for the Peacekeeper, never had to fire an assault rifle in a moving vertibird going at high speeds jinking in every direction at a speedy buggy doing the same, firing every time he though the shot lined up right to him.

Ruby was not the world's best gunner, but she was determined and had quite a good eye. So she peeked around the open door of the Vertibird and took aim on the following jeep. She was trying to hit the driver. If they couldn't drive, they couldn't keep up to shoot. Or so the petite nurse reasoned.

Martin lay with his feet kicked up on a worn diner's table. Back to the booth and dusty shades pulled down in the window he had found himself a decent spot for a nap. Shotgun was wedged beneath the table out of immediate sight and a land mine tucked carefully by the entrance to the worn out Yumstar Diner should anyone want to creep in while he was seemingly vulnerable. It had been a pretty lazy day so far and the radio reflected this much to the young man's appreciation. For a brief time he would be able to just kick back and let the stresses of Enclave duties and the pressure to find good scrap melt away. The possibility that there might be an opportunity to try and recover a suit of power armor in the future was a tantalizing little snippet to boot. What a wonderful world indeed.

Then everything started exploding after a Vertibird passed over head. Sadly these explosions were far too close for comfort compared to the daily fireworks he was so familiar with in the wasteland.

"Please don't be one of ours. " Martin threw his legs down on the ground and made for the drive-thru window. Poking his head out his fears were confirmed. "Fuckity fuck fuck fuck! " Cursing his luck and the ruined nap he crawls over to the door and swiftly disarms his mine, tucking it away with another in a fortified lunch box that he had owned since childhood. Snatching up his shotgun and flipping down his goggles the engineer fell out into the wasteland and ducked low. Running along as quickly as stealth would allow he closed in on the immediate danger zone where his fellow loyal Enclave patriots were battling with degenerate raider scum. Taking note of the buggy in the streets and the rocket fire from the buildings Martin decides he doesn't fancy getting greased by a loaded up vehicle and instead tries to find a way into the building housing those rocketeers!

  4. Arthor was interrupted from his being nervous when the vertibird suddenly began to take evasive actions and nearly made his fall off his seat. "Not even a second of quiet around here huh?" He opened his bag and pulled out his prototype arm and put it over his right arm. After turning it on with the flip of a switch he went back into his bag and grabbed a landmine. "Here goes nothing." He said to himself as he activated it and threw it at the buggy chasing them using the prototype arm.

  5. Gordon Fley upholstered his revolver and took cover behind the side of the Vertibird door. Trying to make himself as small as possible as he peered out.
'These degenerates are trying to force us to land. Could be that they don't want to damage to Vertibird or they don't want to kill everyone inside. Not that they're making a show of not trying to.' Gordon thinks as a bullet crocheted near his face.
Ducking back inside, Gordon thinks 'nuts to this' and drops a cryo grenade out the door and hopes for the best. Looking over to Arthor, Gordon asks almost casually.
"Did you just throw a fragmentation mine at them?... This should have interesting results."

  6. Arthor shrugged. "You threw a cryo grenade at them if anything they might freeze just before they explode or vise versa. As long as they stop shooting at us." Arthor checked the prototype arm casually as he took cover from the shots being fired. He didn't see a point in getting out his shotgun for this since it's short range so he just took cover and hoped someone that did have the right kind of gun took care of the raiders.

"Ya just had to ask about missile launchers, didn't ya Frank? Next time could you just ask if they teddy bear launchers or something!?" Jace called back to the Peacekeeper as he primed the gun and took aim at the the Raiders with the missile launchers, unloading hell upon them. While he preferred laser weaponry, he was still a crack shot.

    @TuskatheDaemonKilla
He looked over at Stone as he tossed out a landmine, giving the man an incredulous smile as he did so, seeing that the chances of the landmine landing in the perfect position to hit the buggy were slim to none. "Stone good sir, if that bloody works I'll buy you beer for a week!"
  8. [UPDATE: COMPLETE] the translator blared, Bark...returning to his regular old Bark mood. Jovial, and happy as he looked around toward everyone in the flying metal box. The reformed enemy of the Enclave got a happy woof from the excited cyber hound, although for the new designation to take effect he discretely had to run an additional subroutine to add the former prisoner to a "kill on sight" list if he proved to be untrustworthy or had anything other then the Enclave's best wishes at heart. But at the very least, Bark was no longer actively hostile nor uncomfortable regarding the former peacekeeper, even if it was under the pretenses of having to tear out the man's throat had he regressed toward being their enemy. "HI" the translator squeaked, as per usual, but while looking toward a former foe (atleast to his understanding) "TREAT?". Bark deep down would have accepted a walk as well. Perhaps even a belly rub.

However the happy cyber hound mood did not last long as gun fire and explosions went off. [HOSTILE ACTIONS IDENTIFIED] Bark wandered over to the edge of the Vertibird looking for the source of the hostility, upon looking downwards, Bark spotted a fast moving metal box trailing after their flying one. [HOSTILES: IDENTIFIED] [ENGAGING TARGET] the translator bellowed as the dog lept out of the Vertibird and toward the Raider's jeep [ACCEPT DEMOCRACY OR ACCEPT YOUR DEMISE].

  9. "Oh sweet Jesus." Arthor said as the cyber hound just leapt off of a moving Vertibird. He looked back to the others behind him "Grab my legs!" He yelled as he went after the dog. The prototype will give him some extra reach but he needed to be quick here. Dear god the things he does for this dog.

The ancient steel, broken glass, and ruined concrete became swiss cheese before the spray of the minigun. Pool's heavy weapons training and fusion powered servos enhanced and steadied his aim. Like the sky scrapper, the first Rocketeer was ripped apart by the minigun.

[Heavy Gunner perk increases accuracy with minigun. -1 enemy Rocketeer]

Jenkins comments, "Great Private. Don't get cocky!"
Like Pool, Southwind was equally successful with the second rocketeer. His shots tended to stray if he held down the trigger for continues fire, but his first shot was always on the mark. The rocketeer fell, and so did the launcher he had loaded and ready. It goes off in a storm of concrete and glass. The skyscrapper falling in on its decaying weight.

[Steady Aim perk increases accuracy -1 Rocketeer]

Jenkins comments, "You sure know how to bring the house down."
