Well blood for the blood god am I right? What if Mark of Khorne had the added trait of corruption on self, which you can choose to use? So, with enough blood in a single life your character should have the option of giving into the warp. A transformation if you will into....something like this (see images below). This would be how Chaos becomes something very unique from the other races of the game. Of course the loadouts and stats for the corrupted selves will be fixed, which would allow development to ensure they are properly balanced. At a guess a corrupted CSM should have stats like this, which focuses on health over armor. The reason for this is to suggest teamplay that supports a corrupted CSM with healing, because with it they'd be quite powerful and without fairly easily killed. Turning into Deamon Princes on the field is a no-no imo, the sheer killy-power of such beings would either require you to break the game to fit their power in or reduce them in power where you would be spitting in the face of lore. Being possessed and turning into a Possessed Marine on the other hand, or even Spawndom, thats something of a scale more fitting to our game.
Aye, still waiting on that one, hopefully it comes in God flavors when it actually gets into the game.
