And to think people got their jimmys rustled over Abbadingdongs measly 5 heat ailment which was a minor annoyance at best given the base kinetic damage... 10 ailment being applied per hit on top of a weapon with much lower kinetic damage and higher RoF though... One can only hope it has a low tick rate otherwise the ailment will stack into some ridiculous melta-level damage over time.

ailment does not equal damage, the 5 ailment of abaddon's grace ticks 10 twice for a total of 20 damage, on the stream noah shot just once and it dealt 1 tick of 10, so i guess it has 2,5 ailment.
No one really got idea of how exactly it works, but 60 heat is enough to kill 500 ehp, so i guess it does increasingly higher dmg as it builds up.
Using the burny choppy (20 heat ailment) i count around 22 ticks of 10 with 3 applications in quick succesion, and 7 ticks if i just hit once, so basically no intensity stacking but if i hit 5 times i get a short burst of ticks of 50, i guess if you can stack around 80+ heat the damage goes up alot.
