*Jeremiah reaches back and places a hand on the shotgun, it's still not visible but can be pulled out rapidly if whatever it is comes out of the bush*

Henrik drew his axe and knife from his waist and gazed where the sound seemed to originate from.

"Guys, I ain't much use right now so you handle whatever comes out of there."

OOC: I'm off to bed now, have fun for now

*reaches down and grabs a burning stick and throws it at the bush, setting the bush alight and the odd sound has now became an odd, pained scream/roar and after a few seconds of the bush shaking wildly it was gone, running in the other direction, leaving only the burning bush*

"Feth me!"

"What was that?!" Graham yelled, following the thing with his Rifle but not shooting as he has no clear view - not ready to waste any of his precious bullets.

"damned if i know.... and i dont want to know.... best set up some traps if it decides to come back...."

*starts pulling some vines off of the nearby trees for Sergei's traps*

"So tell me.. You think that thing's going to get his or her family for the party?" Henrik asked while while laying on his back and watching the sky, "Cause we need to kill a few of those - I'm starting to get hungry and getting hungry on our rations ain't a good thing."

He could feel his stomach growling and rumbling like it was the end of the world.

"And someone hand me my backpack! It's got all my rations in it!"

"Stop crying and yelling Henrik!" Graham tried to shut the whiny man up, though also his stomach was growling. 'Terra's throne what I would give to even have a snack like a Gretchin.... Unbearable!' He thought to himself, nervously aiming through the bushes.

Henrik raised an eyebrow at Graham's reaction, "Emperor help if I have to do everything myself."

"And don't you dare start laughing at this!" He commanded and started to roll sideways toward his backpack.

After a few dedicated rolls he reached the backpack and placed it in his lap after rising to a sitting position. With swift fingers he opened it and took out two of the ration packages.

"Salvation!" He roared and opened both of them and dug in.

"Tastes like dung but it keeps the worst of the hunger away," He concluded after munching a bit.

*tries to stop Henrik mid-roll but is too late, looks at Graham*

"the man cant walk... remember? its not like he can just get up and get it himself"

"on another note.... hurry up and heal up...."

*picks up and throws a large pile of vines at Sergei's feet*

"is that enough?"

"Sure, I'll get on it, speaking of which Hendrik in my backpack theres a canteen with water." Sergei then tied together and layed the vines so that there were several loops in it, all the while explaining his idea: "Well I lay the vines like so and I am hoping that any would be predators put one of their feet in the loop and when they take a step, it gets caught around it and then pulls out the stick there." he pointed at the edge of the cliff nearby where he had put a stake through the vine: "If we take the crap out of my backpack and store it here when we don't need it, we can fix my backpack to the end there so that we the assailint pulls out the stick, it will be drug down there by the weight of the backpack filled with stones or something." He ended there before afixing the backpack, wondering what the others thought about the idea.
