Remove melee in a 40k game. Kay. Let's also remove everything else that's fun. And re-skin everything. Now its just like counter strike and call of duty! Just like everyone wants :^)
To be honest, think they should get rid of Dbash entirely. So many complaints about it. Heavy attacks should beat (go through) fast attacks. Fast attacks should interrupt attack animations during the wind up. If two attacks of the same type complete at the same time then they clang and goes through the whole weapon durability thing. This then means that players with the knife are using their weapon speed to interrupt an attack to give them time to roll back and shoot. This would then put melee at an advantage in melee, give some purpose to powerfists and axes and provide a simple to understand melee that would be easier to grasp for new players.
and no one would use Heavy attack and spam light attack with either a P mace or a P fist since they will BREAK any other weapon on a clang .. a P mace fitted with impact mod even wins from a fist on a LA clang btw. so mace meta ? yes plz!
Just git gud or stay dying. It's rock/paper/scissors, man. If your issue is with getting kicked in the nuts and shot, then obviously, the power of the bullet isn't the problem. It seems to start when you get kicked in the nuts.
